"Change Your Story"

OMG! This is why I fricken hate catfags, almost as much as I hate cats! I got a special snowflake piece of work again on YouTube. This character calls herself Alysin Chainz, and she is a total and complete idiot! Just like all libtard snowflake catfags are!! But I've got to say, I'm having fun with her! LOL!!! It started on a post about a cat attacking a bird nest and killing all the baby birds. Some other libtard fool was saying "Good cat" about the cat killing the birds. It all goes back to that comment, and someone calling himself Honkey-Tonk Man made this comment in response:

honky tonk manhonky tonk man6 months agothats ok i poisen the cats that enter my yard.. make sure its not your cat and you keep the rat inside at nights.

Personally, I agree with him!! If a cat is outside, I consider it a stray. Because it is a stray, it will act like a stray. Keep those filthy beasts inside your house if you're going to have them! Then they don't get a hold of wildlife and wreak havoc! Well, as usual, Honky-Tonk man got a lot of hateful posts from the other catfag libtards. Like this one:

Mars TrinityMars Trinity6 months ago (edited)If you ever did that to one of my cats I would torture you before killing you @honky tonk man

To which he responded...

honky tonk manhonky tonk man6 months agoMars Trinity - Keep your shitty cats inside , they are illegaly entering and messing up properties . i now purchased a pellet gun with a night vision laser pointer.. i watch from my kitchen window.. any cat enters BANG BANG they dead.. Keep your shitty cat inside or its next ..then i will dump your shitty cat it in your front yard so you know how other people feel when they mess up our yards at nights.

I know Katrina hates cats a LOT!! She used to like them, until the stray cat problem around her place became too much for her to handle. They ripped the convertible top on her car. They used her driveway and garden as a litterbox. They disturb the birds that come to her feeders to feed. They have attacked her kids. Her older daughter had a bad scratch once from one of the stray cats that attacked her out of nowhere, and had to have stitches. The child was only 15 months old at the time, I do not believe she was harassing the cat at all to make it attack her like it did. Yep, compared to Katrina, I am a cat-lover! LMAO!! And I hate cats. Just not as much as Katrina does! Katrina hates them with a burning passion.

Well, Alysin Chainz read his comment, and that was when her butthurt began. She left this comment:

Alysin ChainzAlysin Chainz13 hours agohonky tonk man ,.....You’re not too bright are you ? Honky Tonk Boy ? You DO know you can go to jail for that ,.. right ? I hope you’re in jail for that right now ! If not ,.. you soon will be !

LMAO!!! I had to laugh when I saw that comment!! I never heard of going to jail for shooting a stray cat!!! Not unless someone misses and hits a person instead! See, Alysin is trying to scare people. This is a typical tactic of libtards to scare other people into agreeing with them. They use false "facts" when they cannot get their way. And it's obvious Alysin is not going to get her way, and that scares her. So she tries to make up this misinformation to scare other people who do not agree with her. My dad was a retired cop, and nowhere in his jurisdiction did it say shooting stray cats is a felony!! Nor is it a felony where Katrina lives, out in the country. Not that I have heard! Nor is it a crime here where I live at now. In fact, it's more like a public service. It saves native wildlife. Anyway, I had to tell Alysin what I thought of her comment...

Dee Timmy-Hutch-Fan

Yes, Katrina now has a rifle she gets the cats with. Not only that, but she runs over them with her car every chance she gets. She calls it her car paying the cats back for the damage they do to it. Well, once again, Alysin shows her butthurt side by trying to scare me into telling Katrina that's wrong. Katrina wouldn't care though. She's been in battle in her town about the stray cat problem. This was Alysin's response to me...

Alysin ChainzAlysin Chainz7 hours agoDee Timmy-Hutch-Fan ,....Glad you said that ! Especially out loud here on YouTube ! It’s against the law where I live ! But that’s cool ! I’m just glad you said that out loud ! See your neighbor soon !

I don't know where she lives. But wait a minute! How did my neighbor get in this conversation?!! LMAO!!! What did she do? BTW, my neighbor's name is Sherry, and she can barely walk, and probably is the most unoffensive person you'll ever meet. What has she got to do with stray cats?!! I think Alysin is messed up at this point. She said she'll "see my neighbor soon". Umm, I don't know if she knows my neighbor. What's she going to see her for? To have tea and cookies? Who knows! I don't even know how Alysin brought my neighbor into this conversation in the first place! LMAO!!

Anyways, this was my response to her...

Dee Timmy-Hutch-FanDee Timmy-Hutch-Fan7 hours agoGo for it. LOL!! Call the cops on my friend. She outwitted her town's mayor about the stray cat problem. LMAO! And you don't want to know how!

I could mention it on here, but that one really might get Katrina in trouble. By this time, I don't even think I read Alysin's comment about my neighbor. All I saw really was how she said "Glad you said that ! Especially out loud here on YouTube ! It’s against the law where I live !" I think she thinks Katrina is my neighbor. Katrina lives over 100 miles away from me in another state. In terms of living in the next state, I guess we are neighbors. But we are not next door neighbors. But I dare Alysin to try and get Katrina in trouble! Not gonna happen! LMAO!! She is within her rights. It's her property, and if she doesn't want stray cats in it, that's her right to shoot at them. As long as she doesn't hurt a person, or a dog.

Well, Alysin made 2 comments back to me in response...

Alysin ChainzAlysin Chainz7 hours agoDee Timmy-Hutch-Fan ,.....I don’t care !

Well, obviously she does care. She keeps going on...

Alysin ChainzAlysin Chainz7 hours agoDee Timmy-Hutch-Fan ,....Maybe she can out wit what a dumbass she has for a neighbor !

That really doesn't make much sense, but I don't really know Katrina's neighbor. She lives out in the boomies. Her property is 5 acres wide. So, it's not like her neighbor is right next door. This was my response to Alysin...

Dee Timmy-Hutch-FanDee Timmy-Hutch-Fan7 hours agoI don't know her neighbor so I cannot answer that. LMAO! 😂 Nice try dude.

Well, I just noticed this comment tonight. Alysin says...

Alysin ChainzAlysin Chainz7 hours agoDee Timmy-Hutch-Fan ,....KEEP TALKING !!

Again, she is trying to scare me. But it's not working. I know what the laws are. The cops she reports any of this to is just going to laugh at her like I did. In fact, I think they already did. Next thing I know, she is on my channel, invading my videos about Mya. But first, she shoots me with a subscription. Well, I do appreciate her subscribing. YouTube says I can use the numbers. On the video, where I have Mya opening her birthday gift, Alysin gets on there and posts this comment...

Alysin Chainz 8 hours agoAwe,....Good thing you have a dog and not a cat !
My response was this...

Dee Timmy-Hutch-Fan 6 hours agoYes. I wouldn't have a cat at all.

Mya wouldn't be in my house if she was a cat!!! Simply put, I just would not have a cat at all. Well, Alysin gets more and more butthurt, and seems to go a little bit insane with each post. This is what she posted on another video sample for the movie TimmyHutchFan Gets The Best Birthday Gift:

Alysin Chainz 7 hours ago
Awe,.... She’s so sweet ! Good thing you didn’t get a cat ,.. you know ,.. with your neighbor shooting cats with her rifle and all ! Whew !

Again, she is talking about my neighbor! LOL!! I don't even know why my neighbor keeps coming up in her conversations. Maybe that's what craziness does to people like her. Yes, thank GOD I don't have a cat!! I could be as crazy as Alysin if I did! LOL!! I mean, I like the level of craziness I am at. But Alysin is downright insane!! You know who she reminds me of? She reminds me of Sara Weiner/mcgillicutty. Watch as Alysin gets nuttier and nuttier...

I figure she's trying to talk about Katrina in the birthday gift sample video, when she talks about "my neighbor". I never said Katrina is "my neighbor". Alysin said that. So, I correct her...

Dee Timmy-Hutch-Fan 6 hours agoShe's not my neighbor. She's my friend. We live in different towns. LOL! But thanks for the comments about my baby.

This is where Alysin gets really strange. She thinks I am changing my story. But like I said, not once did I ever say Katrina and I are neighbors. Not that I wouldn't be. We're just not. We're friends. It's a different meaning. This is what Alysin says...

Alysin Chainz 6 hours agoDee Timmy-Hutch-Fan ,....Change your story ! That’s what people like you do ,... CHANGE YOUR STORY !

Now what does that mean "people like you"? LOL! Does that mean cute people "like me"? Well, I agree with that. LOL! What's this about changing my story? Is that stupid libtard shit-talk? I don't speak libtard, so someone has to translate for me that has studied these loony creatures longer than I have. LMAO!! A little lesson here in reading comprehension. And I will try to write here like a first-grade schoolteacher would do so even libtards like Alysin can understand. Here is the meaning of a neighbor...

noun1.

a person who lives near another.2.a person or thing that is near another.

3.one's fellow human being:

to be generous toward one's less fortunate neighbors.4.a person who shows kindliness or helpfulness toward his or her fellowhumans:

to be a neighbor to someone in distress.5.(used as a term of address, especially as a friendly greeting to astranger):Tell me, neighbor, which way to town?

adjective6.

situated or living near another:one of our neighbor nations.
Those are the meanings that count most I believe in what she's saying. The word "Neighbor" can be used as a verb too, but that does not apply in this case. But no, Katrina and I do not live nearby each other. In fact, it is rare that I get to see her. Though I do call her on the phone sometimes. But with her working 70 hours a week, and with 4 kids, and a working ranch, she doesn't get much free time to come visit me. And she has neighbors who live a lot closer to her than I do! So, you know Alysin has no clue what she's talking about!

Here is the actual definition of a friend...

noun1.

a person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard.2. a person who is on good terms with another; a person who is not hostile:

3. a person associated with another as a contact on a social media website:
There are other meanings, but these are the most relevant. So there, if Alysin ever reads this, now she can know the difference between what is called a "friend", and what is called a "neighbor". Unless those parasites those dumb cats of her's carries got to her brain and completely ruined it. Then, she's a lost cause. She'll never recover. While Katrina and I may not be neighbors, she is a good family friend.

But it may not be just the cats that got to Alysin's brain. I think it's just how the modern generation is nowadays. This is what I said to Alysin in response...

Dee Timmy-Hutch-Fan 2 hours agoI never changed my story. You must have just thought I said she was my neighbor. But there is a difference between "neighbor" and "friend". I had neighbors I was not friends with. And not all my friends live nearby. Open up a dictionary and learn to read, dude. LOL!

But after I posted that comment, I remembered what kids today are like. Most of them cannot read, and many sure cannot comprehend what they do read.

Dee Timmy-Hutch-Fan 1 hour agoOh wait a minute. Your generation does not know how to read. That's right. Alysin couldn't even tell me how many ounces are in a pound. That explains why she doesn't know the difference between someone who is a neighbor and someone who is a friend. LOL!

That was a real DUH moment!!!! LOL!! But it answered my question as to why Alysin thinks I said Katrina is my neighbor and not my friend. Really, I've had neighbors I was not friends with. Remember Roger? Remember Andy? They were my neighbors back when I lived in Bozeman, but I was NOT friends with them. And I would never call them "friends".

Back in the Birthday Gift Sample video, Alysin just keeps going on about Mya being a dog and not a cat. LOL!! I'm beginning to have some fun with her at this point...

Alysin Chainz 6 hours agoDee Timmy-Hutch-Fan ,...Good thing ,... I mean ,.. since you have a neighbor that shoots cats with her rifle and all ! 👍🏻

I decided to give Alysin a chance to meet Katrina, if I could get a hold of her!

Dee Timmy-Hutch-Fan 2 hours agoMy neighbor doesn't. But my friend does. Wanna meet her? @Katrina Hates You

Well, now Alysin knows Katrina's online name. She can dig as deep as she wants with that. I tried calling Katrina, but she didn't answer the phone. I figured either she and the family are out or she and her hubby are getting it on. LOL!! I wanted to tell her about Alysin and respond herself if she wanted to. And Alysin was uhhh "anxious" to meet her...

Alysin Chainz 1 hour agoDee Timmy-Hutch-Fan ,...Sure ! She sounds delightful ! @katrinaisgoingtogetfucked

LOL!! Ya know, I would LOVE to see Alysin try to fuck up Katrina! That girl has the power of a mama bear! You don't fuck around with a mama bear!

So here Alysin goes commenting on another video that is very old, I filmed it when I was back in Astoria. Many a catfag has heard what I said on that video and got as butthurt as Alysin! Including one I once thought was a "friend". Lesson learned; NEVER try to make friends with catfags! This is what Alysin posted:

Alysin Chainz 1 hour agoShould have used your rifle to shoot the cat like @katrina !
But I really think you are the one that shoots cats with YOUR @rifle

I do actually have a rifle, it was my grandfather's. It's so old though, you can't get ammo for it anymore. But back in it's day, you could shoot rabbits, squirrels AND cats with it. LOL! That'd make Alysin happy! Well, she goes on and on, and gets crazier and crazier...

Alysin Chainz 1 hour agoHundred bucks that cats dead now !
My reponse...

Dee Timmy-Hutch-Fan 1 hour agoProbably. There used to be another one like her when I first moved there, but it was killed by some bald eagles that were nesting nearby. :)

It's true. I moved to Astoria in 2014. When I got there, there were 2 tortoiseshell cats roaming the property. One was the fat cat in that video. The other one I think must have been her sister. Early in 2015 however, I woke up and went to my car and I noticed a huge pile of tortoiseshell cat hair on the ground, along with some flesh and bleeding that looked like it had been torn off an animal. At first, I thought it was a rabbit. But I noticed one of the tortoiseshell cats was missing. It never came back. So, then I realized that was where that fur and flesh came from. There was a nesting pair of bald eagles nearby. I used to hear them calling out all the time! I think the eagles got a hold of that cat, killed it and ate it. It is typical of eagles and hawks to begin tearing chunks of fur from their prey before they take off with it.

Again, Alysin is trolling my videos by creating another thread. Now I'm beginning to think this is not only the ramblings on of a crazy, mixed-up psycho woman, but also some kind of guilt trick she has for people who don't agree with her.

Alysin Chainz 1 hour agoWe know you hate cats !
Bang bang ,.. Huh ?!

I continued to play along...

Dee Timmy-Hutch-Fan 1 hour agoHell yeah I do. LOL!! And we know you don't know how many ounces are in a pound. LOL!

Well, as of now, she hasn't responded. She may, or she may not. But I am ready. I'm actually quite shocked she hasn't yet started to make fun of me being fat. But I guess she is not yet that desperate. I'm sure it's going to go like this for a while, until she realizes she's not going to get what she wants from me by using a guilt-trick. THEN she will resort to name-calling. I just said to her "Thank you for $ubscribing" and went on about my evening. Yes, I did notice earlier that she did subscribe, and I appreciate any subscriptions. Even those by lunatics whose channels probably won't last till the end of the year! That's the way trolls are. She doesn't have any videos of herself on her channel. So, obviously it's a troll channel. I wonder who she is in real life? I'm tempted to say one of the libtard INXS fans, LOL!! But I think that's just my paranoia. hehehe!

Fish Species I Love But Will Never Own Again

Just like birds, I've never seen a fish I didn't love. I've had many species over the years since I began this hobby in 1985. My goal in fact is to have owned every species of small tropical fish at least once before I pass. It's an item on my bucket list. But there are some species I've owned before, and decided I will never own again, even now that I am getting another aquarium going. They are usually for reasons that I am not compatible with that species, or they are too aggressive for a community tank. Anyway, here are some species of fish that I do love, but will never own again.

Goldfish (Carassius auratus)
This is the ultimate children's pet. But I've always had nothing but bad luck with goldfish. Even if I take great care of the water, proper feedings, water changes, and all that good stuff, I've never been able to keep a goldfish for longer than 2 weeks. Later, I found out the reason, they need a tank of at least 40 gallons. They don't last long in those little fish bowls.

Angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare)
These are simply gorgeous relatives of cichlids. I have owned a couple of angelfish way back in my early days of fishkeeping. But they are also quite aggressive. They nip the fins of other smaller fish, and even will eat small fish. Since I prefer smaller fish over bigger fish, I'd get rid of the angelfish before I would get rid of my tetras.

Pygmy Pea Puffer (Carinotetraodon travancoricus)
These are the smallest of the puffer fish. I absolutely adore them, ever since I first saw them in 2005. But don't let their small size fool you into thinking they are peaceful fish. They are no bigger than your thumbnail, but they are monsters! I had some back in 2006, and they completely stripped one of my serpae tetras of his fins! I had to put the poor tetra to sleep and move the puffers out of my community tank.

Tiger Barb (Puntius tetrazona)
These are gorgeous barbs, with some nice colors. I owned some back in my early days of fishkeeping. They are not very large, but like the puffers, they are fin-nippers. They need to be kept in schools, much like tetras. But they also need large tanks. Even then, I wouldn't trust them with small tetras.

Clown Loach (Chromobotia macracanthus)
Loaches are basically bottom-feeders and not aggressive. Clown loaches are the biggest of the loaches and also among the most colorful. However, I would never keep one again simply because of their sheer size. If you plan to keep one of these guys, it's best to keep them in a 75-gallon or larger.

Well, those are all I can think of now. I might add more later on. I just can't think of anymore fish that I would never own that I haven't had before. When it comes to animals, I don't really like saying "never". Because my taste in animals changes like every year I've noticed. Especially now that I am getting older.

Fish On The Way

No, they're not for eating. LOL! They're ornamental fish. I finally took the big step and ordered myself some fish online. I don't know if that's the safest way to go in getting fish, I have done it before and had some success. But there are no tropical fish stores here in town. I was thinking the other night about creating my own. I thought I could start a small pet business online, and then later, when I can see how well it does here, I can open up a storefront, full-line pet store. I want to sell fish--both tropical and marine, birds of all kinds, small animals, herps, and allow responsible breeders to advertise their puppies and kittens. I always wanted to open up my own pet shop. But I don't have any idea if the people in this town would be savvy to it. So, starting online is the best way to begin. I'm going to create a website where people can order small creatures, have their orders sent here to me, and they will come here to pick up their order.

I even went so far as to look into getting a business license. I might just go for it! It's only $50 to get a business license in this state! That's not bad at all. I can do it. And I can get a special license to run my business online. It'd be fun!! Once I get a business license and a BIN #, I can have access to sites the general public cannot have access to. But as fun as it would be to be able to get my own fish and birds at wholesale prices, I can only use that for business purposes. Nothing else. Sorry me!! LOL! Cannot abuse the system. If the business folds, then well at least I will have the answer as to how well a pet shop will do in this town. There is actually a pet shop in town, but it's a tiny one, and they have very few customers. They might have more customers if they had more inventory. But let's see. That's why I am starting online, and only getting a storefront if my online business does well.

Well, this is a list of the fish I am getting for my tank:

Boraras brigittae - Also known as the Chili rasbora, mosquito rasbora and the strawberry rasbora. It's a very small, peaceful fish that is a brilliant red in color with a dark spot covering the middle. They like to live in schools of at least 6 individuals in a tank, and are perfect, colorful additions to a nano-aquarium.

Hyphessobrycon pulchripinnis - Known as the Lemon tetra, or sometimes Lemon pristilla tetra. These fish have dazzling red eyes and brilliant black and yellow fins. They too are quite peaceful, but sometimes can be fussy. They are great fish for beginners though. Like all schooling fish, they must be kept in groups of at least 5 individuals.

Epiplatys annulatus - Known as the Clown killi, Rocket killi, or Banded panchax, these are some of the smallest of the killifish. They are also some of the most demanding. Not really the best choice for beginners. But they are good because they can live well in a tank without any filtration at all. I may have to take out one of my powerheads for these guys!

Paracheirodon innesi -  The ever-popular Neon Tetra. Every tank I've ever had always had to have neons. I love them! I love how they shine when they are in a school. Without proper space and filtration though, these fish can become somewhat frustrated. Before I got so advanced in the hobby, I would keep these guys in a 10-29 gallon aquarium, and I'd always have all but one die on me. I could start off with either 5 or 10 individuals, but within weeks, all would die except one. I couldn't figure out why until I started getting the larger tanks.

Hemigrammus rhodostomus - The Rummynose tetra. This is a colorful tetra too, I personally love seeing them in a school with their black and white, flag-like tails waving, in contrast with the bright red coloring on the head. These tetras are more of a challenge than others, and water conditions must be just right or else they just won't get along.

Parosphromenus deissneri - The Licorice gourami. These guys are fascinating, but also quite a challenge to keep. Surely not for beginning aquarists. But I think I can take on the challenge. Usually when you see these fish, they are extremely expensive! They are actually rarely available in the hobby. They too don't like a lot of movement in the tank, so I might have to get rid of one of my powerheads for these guys too.

Brachygobius xanthozonus - I gotta confess, gobies are fun!! But so difficult to keep. They actually do much better in an aquarium by themselves as opposed to a community aquarium. They also will not readily take flake foods, especially if there is too much competition for them. But again, I am ready to take on the challenge.

Brachirus panoides - The Freshwater Flounder, or Freshwater sole. I just like these guys because they are so unusual looking!! Flounders are usually saltwater fish, and even in the saltwater trade they are a rarity! So, when I see the freshwater variety coming up available, you can bet I am going to get it!!

Corydoras panda - Known as the Panda cory, these are members of the armored catfish family. These too are kindof hard to find. But they are a prize when you do find them. They are scavengers, and seemingly come to life when feeding.

Corydoras pygmaeus - The Pygmy cory. These are the smallest of the cories, and also the most social. They do much better when kept in large groups of the same species. They are also the best breeders among the armored catfish. If you have favorable water conditions, and you have a single male and female, or any number of males and females, you'll soon have a whole school of them!

Danio choprai - The Glowlight Danio. This is a rather new addition to the hobby. Danios are related to rasboras, and sometimes these are called Glowlight rasboras. They are more of a challenge to keep than other danios, like the zebra danios. But they love good aeration in the tank and are strong swimmers.

Danio margaritatus - Known as the Celestial danio, the Celestial pearl danio, and the Galaxy rasbora. This is also a rather new addition to the hobby. I only just started seeing them available in 2011. They are easily identified by the bright reddish body covered in white spots, and bright orange fins.

Poropanchax normani - Known as Norman's Lampeye Killifish, they are known for their flashy blue eyes, which seem to glow under the light. Like all killies, they can be very colorful, and are quite a challenge to keep. They are no bigger than the clown killies, and like them, do better in a nanotank with only a small amount of filtration. They are best kept in schools.

Yaoshania pachychilus - Known as the Panda loach. All loaches are bottom-feeders. These guys are so-named because of the brilliant black and white pattern on the juveniles. However, they do not stay that way. The adults are relatively dull by comparison, but still have rather cool-looking black and brown jailbird stripes.

Sorry. I should not start off an aquarium with so many fish, but I got on that site and just could not help myself! There's still more I want to get, but I am going to wait. Maybe next month, I can get some kuhli loaches, farlowellas, croaking gouramis, dwarf neon rainbowfish, threadfin rainbowfish, celebes halfbeaks, and others. Next time I blog, I think I'll write about fish I'll never have, and why.

New Side Of Me

Well, not really. I'm still me, just very busy, which is why I haven't been posting in this blog for a while. I'm still at work on my Metazoic site. I want to finish as many families as I can while I am still in the mood. Since my last post, I've completed about 3 more families. I'm still on a role and I am hot! But for the past week, I've been preparing myself for my latest birthday gift, from myself AND my sis. I got a fishtank! It's a 65 gallon tank, and it is used, but no leaks and most of the equipment that came with it is usable. I got my sis to get me a stand to put it on, and for 3 days I worked on it off and on. It wouldn't have taken so long, except that I am not used to doing that kind of hard labor now, and my hands would hurt after several hours of hard use of a screwdriver! But once I would get the feeling back in my hands, I would go back to work on that stand. Finally yesterday, I finished it completely. This is the finished stand...

And of course, Mya was by my side during the whole journey...

The only thing wrong with it is one door is kinda crooked, but it's not something I cannot live with. It still opens and closes smoothly, and it has no affect on how the tank sets on the stand. It just looks terrible and that's a cosmetic thing. I can live peacefully with that. Shoot! Look how ugly I am and it doesn't bother me! LMAO!!!

Well, since the tank and accessories are used, and rather old, I expected there to be some flaws. The person I got the tank from said she had a pleco in there for 18 years! So, the tank and accessories are at least 19 years old. She said the fish just finally died a year ago, and the tank has been sitting empty ever since. It was dusty and dirty, but I cleaned it up. I got some rocks and put in it, which you can see in the pics. I also got some plants in it. They are not live plants, they're plastic, but that's all that is needed. Fish just need hiding spots, not necessarily live plants, as long as they are fed good. I'm using Chewy's autoship thing for fish food, so I know I'll have a plentiful supply. Probably more than I'll really need!

I hooked up the filter that came with this tank and turned it on and MAN!!!! It was LOUD!!!! That, I could not live with. It was way too loud!! So, I turned it off and went back on Chewy and ordered a new filter. This time, I made sure it's a quiet one. I also found out there was only one portion of the tank's hood in this box I got with the accessories. And the light bulb was dead. So, I had to order another light fixture and another bulb for the lid it came with. So, that was extra money there spent. I also noticed she did not include any powerheads with the tank, and that is essential for me. Need something to oxygenate the water at all times. So, I have those things on their way. Between getting those things and some decorations so the tank looks homey to my upcoming fish, I spent every last penny I had for this month!! In fact, I went a little over. I had to ask my sis for some financial assistance last night so I don't get overdrawn. My sis is a real trouper!! I've got to hand her that! She is amazing!!

Well, I spent so much on decorations and accessories to replace the ones that don't work, all I need now is fish! Which I will not be able to get until next month. But I've got my eyes on a few places that sells a decent selection of tropical fish. One of my favorites has where if you get $159 worth of fish, you get free shipping! When I look for tropical fish, I like to get small fish. Other people go for larger cichlids, plecos, arrowanas and simply larger, aggressive and semi-aggressive fish. But not me! I prefer small tetras, pencilfish, rasboras, and small, non-aggressive oddballs like that. The harder it is to find, the more I love it!! I enjoy looking into a large fish tank and seeing the small splashes of color and uniqueness of tetras like neons, glowlites, and porkchop rasboras. I like that. I tire of the relatively dull colors in oscars and the larger cichlids. Besides, everybody has those, and I am just not fond of them myself. The only cichlids I would ever have is kribensis and I once had a checkerboard cichlid a pet store clerk once gave me by accident. Those are the smaller species and more suitable for a community aquarium of non-aggressive fish.

When I lived in Montana, there were actually very few fish stores. And those that were there had mostly saltwater fish. I remember in Billings I found a fish store, and I went inside hoping to find equal amounts of salt and freshwater fish. But no, it was ALL saltwater fish. The same kind of thing at the fish shop in Bozeman, only they had like 3 tankfuls of freshwater fish, and those were mostly cichlids, guppies and platies. Basically your run-of-the-mill tropical fish. All the other tanks were nothing but saltwater fish. I remember asking this man why no one in Montana sells freshwater tetras and other small tropical fish. His answer was "Why do you want to own a toilet?" He said those fish live in lakes and streams, which is equivalent to having a "toilet" in your living room. Personally, I don't feel that way.

I may be an oddball myself, but I DO NOT want a saltwater tank! Yes I agree saltwater fish are beautiful, but they are also outrageously expensive!! Let's say I buy a saltwater fish for $80, I bring it home, go through the proper steps of introducing it to my tank, it lives for one month, and then gets sick for some reason and dies. I'm out $80!! And that's not even enough to make that month I had the fish worth the money!! I'd be screaming and spitting blood if that happened to me!! That is why I do not get saltwater fish, ever! The most I've ever paid for a freshwater fish is $10 a piece, which if I lose it, is not as bad. But looking online, I've found that one place that may charge $10 for that same species of fish, may be $4 somewhere else. That's a better deal and I usually go for it. I don't know what kind of fish I'll be getting this time, but I am not likely to go outside the tetra and rasbora families.

So Where Have I Been?

I know I don't write much in my blogs these days. There is a good reason for that. I haven't been around much because I've been working heavily on my Metazoic project, and I am on a roll!! I'm trying to turn Metazoica into like a sort of visual checklist of the mammals of the period. I've got different names and species and I've been working on the drawings for the site and putting up different families almost daily. And usually up to 2 new family groups a week. I've actually been having fun doing this!! And I've been needing to make more pics for the site. Been a long time in between the last time I worked on some of those pics to now. And I've been having people ask me for more. I work at my own pace. And later on, I intend to write a whole book, giving full detail about these animals. But that's later on down the road. Although I've started on it now. I think I have enough material to start.

Since beginning my Metazoic project over 20 years ago, a lot has changed. Including tweaking the animals a bit. There has also been a huge addition of species. I want to create an entire world of new mammals, including a vast number of species. So, that is what I am doing. In the past 2 months I've completed more than a dozen families and placed them on the site. Sometimes I work on the small groups, and sometimes I work on the larger families. It depends on how I feel. Like right this minute, I am working on the family of Metazoic True Squirrels. There are actually 3 squirrel families in the Metazoic. But 2 of them are very different from the true squirrel group. The true squirrels I have are actually descended from modern squirrels. Whereas the other 2 groups are descended from relatives of the guinea pig. I just call them "squirrels" because they look a lot like modern squirrels. But this is a BIG family!!! It's going to take some time to complete. But that is what keeps me busy, other than Mya.

The fun thing about this is, some of these animals I am drawing for the very first time, and it's fun to sit and think about what this animal is going to look like, what colors I can put on it, to make it blend into it's world? How can I tweak it to make it a "more advanced" species? A great number of species I have never drawn and I get to figure out how that animal is going to look. It's a fun way to spend my days, and it keeps me thinking. When I am finished, I can put their page up, create a link, and surprise my viewers. So, I've been pretty busy. Not much time is left to sit and write a blog post. I want to do this for as long as I am in the mood. Because I know how I am. I'll get in the mood and stay this way for a while, but sooner or later, this mood will dissipate and I'll look for other projects to work on. It happens all the time. I can never stick to working on one project for very long. I cannot say how long this feeling will last, but it is quite an adrenaline rush when I complete a family and put it up.

This is me. This is my way. Last year, I was on a roll completing stories for the UMG Productions website, and I got 5 stories completed and put up. Now, I am on a roll for Metazoica. It's exciting! I never know what I am going to work on next. But I leave it all in GOD's hands, and I get so excited when I finish a group. As soon as I am done with the squirrels, let's see what else I'll work on next. IF I feel like working on another group. I never know. But for now, I am on a roll! And I am happy! If anyone reading this wants to see what I've worked on so far, visit my Meet The Mammals page at Metazoica.net. Or just click the link I now provided 😁 Enjoy!

Juvenile Delinquents

Oh LORD!! I never thought this would come to a nice, small town like this one. Of course this town is growing, so I guess I should expect it. I was standing outside with Mya, trying to wait for her to tinkle. There's always kids running around, and every time they do, I fear Mya will run after them and nip them on the ankles like she does me. Then she will also NEVER go potty!!! She's so easily distracted. Well, while we were there, I saw these 3 boys that I've never seen before. One looked like he was about 6 or 7 years old, one looked like he was about 12 or maybe 13, and he was taller than I was, and another looked like he was about 9 or 10 years old. They were all white boys with reddish-brown hair, tall and thin, and looked somewhat alike, so I assumed they were brothers. They also looked MEAN!!!!!!

I saw the youngest one run by me first, then the oldest (and tallest) kid went by me and we made eye-contact. Then, the 10-year old came up, followed by a little Mexican boy whom I think is one of the manager's kids, he was kindof chunky. The 10-year old white boy looked at the little Mexican boy and shouted at him "You're not gonna catch me, fat boy!" The poor Mexican kid stopped running then, and I was angry! I watched as the little Mexican boy walked by me. I said to myself "If I was him, I wouldn't play with those other boys! They're ASSHOLES!!!!" I mean really! I know kids can be cruel. That little incident told me a lot about what those white boys must be like. We have to live here, in rather close quarters. We don't need gutter kids here.

I call kids like that "gutter kids" because I've seen them single-handedly destroy nice complexes like this. That is the reason I never wanted to live in an apartment complex. They always go bad eventually. It was just name-calling, but I've seen kids like that first attack other kids, then attack adults, then start getting physical, and then they start dumpster-diving and leaving junk all over the place. And what do the parents do about it? Nothing! That's what! They don't want to discipline their kids. So the kids are free to wreak havoc all over the complex! This place will become a dump before long if they stay here. Watch and see if I am not right. I don't know the names of those boys, but I am going to remember what they look like and I'm going to keep my eyes on them! They'd better leave me and Mya alone, or I'll bare their behinds and spank them myself! And if their parents give me shit about it, I'm going to say "Someone has to teach those kids who's boss! If you won't do it, I'll do it for you!"

As for the little Mexican boy, he wasn't going out to play with them, thank GOD! I just saw him a few minutes ago playing with some other boys. Some more decent-looking boys. I don't want those gutter boys around my apartment!!! Frankly, I'm not even sure they live here. I've never seen them before today. I've seen the Mexican boy several times, but the white boys I've never seen before. Unless they just moved here. People here are always moving in and out. I hope those white boys don't live here. Like I said, I've seen kids like that totally destroy a place. We don't need that here. We have enough slovenly kids here who don't seem to know where the trash bins are. And their garbage distracts Mya all the time! We don't need any like those white boys here!
