Beavis and Butthead Are Returning!

YES!!! I was looking through the internet and I found some good news. Beavis and Butthead are coming back to MTV!! I am so excited to hear that. Now, Katrina and I can start discussing the new episodes again. I kinda hope they also run some of the classic episodes at the same time as well. The new episodes are due to come out this summer. I have MTV, so I need to stay tuned and find out when and what days. I first saw the show when it came out in 1993, and it was fun then! I remember though at first I was a bit apprehensive about seeing this show. I heard some bad things about it, and I was afraid it was going to be another crappy-suck cartoon like Ren and Stimpy! But I got curious one night. The very first episode I ever saw was one titled Buff N' Stuff, and it made me laugh so hard, especially when Butthead mentioned Popeye, which he mentioned twice on that episode! I love Popeye! So from then on I was hooked on Beavis and Butthead. I take great pains in trying to find some of the classic episodes today, WITH the video commentaries intact! They are basically worthless without them! I managed to find some on YouTube with the music videos intact. But most people take the videos out, which I think is DUMB! That's the way Beavis and Butthead were meant to be seen, is with video commentaries. In some episodes, the video commentaries are the funniest part of the whole episode! The episode it's self may be boring, there are a few like that. Then you get into the parts where Beavis and Butthead are sitting in front of the TV and speaking their minds on what they see in the videos, and you laugh out loud!!! In those boring episodes, that may be the ONLY time you might laugh.

I am right now trying to turn some CD-ROMs I got with Beavis and Butthead episodes on them (SOME have videos intact) and switch them over to DVDs. It's taking all day, but the end result will be worth it. I also have some on VCD, which I am trying to get rid of. It's not easy. I got the Mike Judge Collection, but I hardly ever watch it! I spent over $100 for that collection, and the episodes do not even have the video commentaries intact!! Makes me MAD!! They have some videos, shown separately from the episodes, but that isn't worth shit! I want ALL episodes, with ALL videos intact! That's how the show was meant to be seen. And the only way it should be seen! And I am not the only one who feels that way.

Well, apparently these new episodes that will be coming out have video commentaries, so I said I will watch them. What I hope is that Mike Judge does NOT have too many episodes where Beavis wants to act out as that Cornpolio character! Or Cornholio or whatever the Hell he calls himself! I HATE those episodes!! Those are episodes that I would never care to see again! I don't think this Cornpolio act Beavis puts on is funny at all. It's just plain corn-stupido. I realize Beavis and Butthead are supposed to be stupid, but my GOD!! Get rid of the Cornpolio act!! That goes way beyond stupid, corny and boring!! All Beavis does during his Cornpolio act is give his head a wedgie, raise his arms up, and says the same shit "I AM CORNPOLIO!" and "I NEED TP FOR MY BUNGHOLE" and constantly over and over and over again talking about his butthole in the same manner. It gets boring hearing the same thing over again on the same show! That was the one thing I hated about their movie Beavis and Butthead Do America, was Beavis putting on that act and singing "BUNGHOLIOOOOOOOOOOO-OOOOO-OOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" That scene lasted way too long! If it wasn't for Robert Stack's contribution to that scene, I would skip through it to the end of the movie. I hope there won't be too much of that in these new episodes. But I am glad they are bringing back video commentaries!

The last time Beavis and Butthead ran, which I think was either last year or the year before, I noticed they had 4 episodes in a 30-minute period. I knew what that meant, it meant they cut out the video commentaries! It was only then that MTV decided they were going to run the really classic episodes! Such as Washing the Dog, and Citizen Butthead! Both of which I would like to see again WITH video commentaries intact. That is why I am hoping MTV also runs some of the classics, the way they were MEANT to be seen; WITH video commentaries!
