RIP Patricia Glassop

Well, a lot of my Hutch-fan buddies on Facebook seem to be saddened today. Michael's ma, Patricia Glassop, passed away yesterday. So now, the only one remaining from Michael's original family is his brother Rhett. I feel worse for Lily, she never even got to see Patricia. Well, she can thank ol' frogeyes Geldof for that! Humanitarian indeed! He's no humanitarian. He's a heartless, selfish bastard with no life, and lost a lot of respect from people because he wanted Lily all to himself, so she wouldn't remember her original family. He's not even in any way related to Lily! Some of my friends want to forgive him for that, I say more power to them! They are great people. But I don't like Bob Geldof. I never did. So I see no reason to start now. I personally think he kept Lily from her family deliberately, just to be spiteful. I don't believe that keeping her from her family was in any way for her own good! Ask any child psychologist. My parents never kept me from my grandparents, and I was grateful for having got to know them. The last of my grandparents died off when my grandma passed in 2001. I still miss her a lot. I still think about her, but I also remember all the fun I used to have with her. Lily will never have those kinds of memories about her grandma. Thus I feel bad for her.

None of that would ever have happened if Michael was still around. For her sake, I wish he was. But the first thing I would do if I saw him come back to life is slap him silly! For even considering leaving his little girl like that to be taken into the clutches of that goon Bob Geldof!! And Paula was a lost cause! I knew damn well she was going to kill herself. She was just crazy enough to do it! Well, there is one consolation to all this. At least Patricia is now back with Michael and his father. They are one big happy family again up in Heaven. No matter what anyone else says, yes I believe Michael is in Heaven now. Though we here feel bad because they are all gone, we should be happy for her, as I'm sure she missed Michael while she was here, and now they are together again. Rhett is still here though, and best I can remember, he hasn't seen Lily either since Geldof took over her care.

Paula was one weird-ass chick! It kinda bothers me that people like her are even capable of breeding! And there are so many sane people who cannot have children. She was lucky she even had a baby with Michael. And the world is lucky that Lily looks more like her father than like Paula. The troubling thought is that Lily could have children that look like Paula. Of all the people in Michael's life who are now deceased, I'm sure Paula is the only one who is not up in Heaven. And to think she died so she could be with Michael again. She didn't think of the fact that killing yourself does not send you to Heaven. Unless, as in Michael's case it was an accident. And yes, I will forever believe Michael's apparent hanging was an accident on his part!! But Paula intentionally overdosed on drugs. Shoot! I hate to sound preachy! LOL!! But this is what I heard. GOD is the only one who should decide when you die. No one else! Not even yourself. I know when my Groucho died, I contemplated suicide, but I never did it!! Thanks mostly to my family and friends. And to Vegas for giving me renewed hope. Even though my original plans for him didn't work out. He still is a fine friend. Paula should have thought about her children. Especially Lily, who was the youngest. In other peoples' logic, Paula had a bigger reason to live than I did because those were her children! She carried them for 9 months. She should have been able to connect with them, and go on living for them. I didn't carry Vegas for 9 months, yet I stuck it out for him. Vegas was my will to live. Even though psychologically, it took me a long time to recover from losing Groucho! Paula should have seen Lily as an incentive to live on. She could have raised her, and taught her about her father, which I heard in Geldof's house is not even allowed to be mentioned. And if Paula had still been around, maybe Patricia could have seen Lily at least one more time before she passed.

Well, in other news, I did hear back from PayLoadz. Gosh! They're a rather new company and they are more reliable than RealPlayer! That's awesome! So I got my horse book on the site.

Well I Like This!! >:(

Bummer! And criminy sakes! I worked so hard on this horse book all year long, especially this last week, working on the index pages, and now PayLoadz is the one that is malfunctioning!!! It would not let me upload and I was pissed because of it. So I contacted them and asked what gives. They told me it was some kind of technical problem that should be resolved soon. They said they will contact me as soon as it gets resolved. Don't hold your breath for that contact! RealNetworks said the same thing to me about my RealPlayer converter 2 months ago, and I am still waiting. Makes me mad!! Believe me, I HATE working on the index pages!!! It takes forever! That's the one thing in this life I can be sure of that I hate more than anything!!! I managed to complete it, but it took me 4 days to. I have the paperback up, but I cannot complete the post until I can get both options available. As it is, the book is going to wind up costing $110 in paperback form. Well, it costs me $75 to print a copy, and it's in full color. It's not going to have an ISBN#, because it's just a simple book that I wrote as a hobby. I'm not going to register it nationally. I didn't even have my supervisor's approval on this book. It's not like an assignment she gave me to work on. I just did it because I love horses and I wanted to complete this book.

For the past 4 days, that has been my primary interest. Just getting the book finished. Though I hate more than anything working on the index pages, I knew it had to be done. In a book as big as this one, it is my duty. I had to do the same with the dog book too. And the dog book is bigger! More than 500 pages! This horse book is just slightly more than 300 pages. I'm actually quite proud of this work, it's the first horse book I've ever done in my life! I have written books constantly about dogs, and mammals in general, and I am even still hard at work on the bird books. But I have never written a book about horse breeds! I'll never complete all these books! Though I'd love to. I may need to recruit some help. Especially about the bird books. Those books take special knowledge to write, and I'd like it a lot if someone with at least as much knowledge as me helped to write them. It's going to be a big book!! So big, I may have no choice but to put the book in volumes. So far, all I have it in is passerines and non-passerines. I may have to divide up the passerines section alone! This is going to be a big book!!! To say the very least. I've been working on these books since 1988. Well, that was when I officially started, and been working on and off with them since then. As for the horse book, I will try to have it on the site whenever PayLoadz can get it's technical problems fixed.

Well, last night I got something of a brain storm. I hadn't done a video recently, because I think I just ran out of ideas. So I figured just to keep my channel active with newer videos, I will just do videos about things that I know. My newest video is about chihuahuas. I used Vegas and Odessa as visual aids. I wish I could have done a segment about the different colors in chihuahuas, but Odessa is a red and Vegas is a red parti-color, so not much to really talk about in chihuahua colors, except red! Perhaps I could put up the link to my chihuahua colors site in the description. I think that would work! That's actually my most popular page. I get literally tons of viewers to that page on a daily basis. It's the last website that focuses on all the colors in chihuahuas that is still standing today. Most other people have taken theirs down because it is so controversial talking about chihuahua colors. Especially when you add merle to your page. Breeders are still trying to eradicate merle chihuahuas from the standard. The reason my page is still up is because I don't care what others say about me. They can slam me all they want for having merle chihuahuas on my page. My chihuahua-colors page is simply to illustrate all the different colors in the breed. Nothing more.

Well, at least the horse book is DONE!!! The only thing now is I have to be able to get it on PayLoadz so I can offer it as a download. The download will be a lot less than the paperback, it always is! With the paperback version, we have to pay the printing fees, that is inescapable. That's why they usually cost more than the download version. I just feel so bad that for the last 4 days, I've been thinking of nothing (I mean NOTHING) but getting this book finished! My mind has been a complete blank for everything except that! And now I cannot even upload the e-book to the site!! That's a big bummer and a waste of my week!!!!!!

I've Had It!!!

OMG, have I had enough! I'm through watching Onision for good! LOL! Lately I've been having more fun watching people attack him in videos than watching his videos themselves. He's always putting meat-eaters and omnivores in the same class as rapists, murderers and child abusers. I am so through with him. Then he turns around and says if you eat meat, you can be his friend. UGH!!! He calls meat-eaters murderers, and then turns around in the next breath and says they can be his friends. Someone needs to define to him what a "murderer" is. To murder is to kill a creature of the same species (or at least the same zoological family) for reasons other than consumption. Cannibalism is to consume a creature of the same species. Onision also compares meat-eaters to cannibals. And just because I am fat, and people would tease that I would "eat someone", does not mean it is so! I personally think cannibalism is disgusting! If I were to go out, and shoot another person, and that person dies, that would make me a murderer. If I were to go out and kill a chimpanzee, just for the fun of it, and chimpanzees are in the same zoological family as humans (Hominidae), that also would make me a murderer. I feel so anyway. Killing a cow, a pig, or a chicken for meat does not make me feel like a murderer. It just means that I am of a species that is higher up in the food chain than those animals. And this is the problem with people who are vegetarians for the sole purpose of wanting to spare the lives of "innocent animals", they don't understand that.

Now, everyone knows by now I can't stand show breeders. But, I don't put them in the same class as animal abusers. Racists, yes! Animal abusers, no. Why racists? Because their logic is the same. You ask a show breeder who their friends are and they will not tell you any names outside of the show ring. Because to them, or at least the majority of them, anybody else is inferior. Just like to white supremacists, African-Americans are inferior. Nevermind that an African-American person can be a good person! I have literally TONS of African-American friends, and I've even dated some before. The first man I was going to marry was indeed African-American, and he treated me a lot better than many white guys have in the past!! The same knowledge that makes me hate show breeders so much, also makes me understand them. I know what they do is not easy, I've been there before. I know they do it to improve their breeds. I know what they accomplish, they accomplish because of literally years of hard work, studying and determination. I understand all that. And I also understand when a show breeder is in the ring with their dog or cat, how nerve-wrecking it is. But even knowing all that, very few show breeders have actually earned my respect, and they are only the ones who treat everyone around them, even outsiders, with respect. I can totally respect someone who can work as hard as I have seen breeders work, and does so well at it, and is still a good human being. I cannot respect someone who works so hard, and is good at what he does, yet is pompous, arrogant, thinks their shit doesn't stink, treats everyone around them, who doesn't think their way, like crap. I cannot respect someone like that.

I remember one completely arrogant show breeder like that, all the other show breeders loved him, even the newbies. Said he was a great guy. Well, I didn't see that "great guy", and usually if I don't see it, it doesn't exist. I remember he blew up and got all bent out of shape because I told him that many American-bred chihuahuas resemble the Taco Bell dog. At first, I thought he misunderstood what I said, or maybe I worded it wrong, so I tried to clarify for him--strictly for my own peace of mind. Yet even after that, he still continued to attack me because he said I filled out a questionnaire that he claimed I had no business filling out. I filled out that groups' walk of fame. I thought it was a simple friend-to-friend survey being passed around the group so I filled it out. Like I used to get on my MySpace messages. No one ever told me that those were meant for one chosen person a week. Back then, I never knew that show breeders had no friends. But I know different now! LOL! Anyway, I told everyone he attacked me like a madman, and he did!! There was no other way to describe his behavior. And I am not going to sweeten anything just because he is a show breeder and has a lot of champions to his name!! No WAY!!! Besides, I've seen one of his dogs, apparently his "best", and yes it does look like the Taco Bell dog!! He gave it to another show breeder I used to live down the road from in Olympia. So I know with that comment, I struck a highly-sensitive chord with him. So what?!?!?! Meaning no disrespect to the breeder in Olympia, but he stuck her with a dog that is not show-quality. It's good pet quality, but not show. If Odessa could not make it in the ring, I don't know how this breeder finished that dog to it's championship. Odessa is better quality.

Now, I am not saying that backyard breeders and puppymillers are better people than show breeders. But I've seen good people get slammed by show breeders. Some are simply starting out, or started out the wrong way, and tried to do better. I was among those. When I started out, I didn't know anything about going to dog shows, I'd never attended one. My family was not fond of animals, so I never had any, aside from a few mixed breed dogs, cats, and a papillon that came with no registration, and was what I later learned is a mis-mark. I saw some dog and cat shows on TV, but thought nothing about them being important to breeding animals. I didn't learn all that when I was younger. So, when I started, I got 2 chihuahuas and they bred. I went around the internet to announce the upcoming litter and in one place, I got a lot of praises. In another, I got a lot of bilge. Guess which one was which. LOL! Yep, I got the bilge from the show breeders!! I had no idea that was going to happen. I wasn't used to that. I was used to INXS fans in chatrooms. Back then, INXS fans were friendly, and treated everyone else like equals. No matter what you thought. I remember I was well-loved in that chatroom! But that was back before I got slaughtered by the internet! hehehe! Going into those show breeder forums, I think has turned me into a monster!

Out For Masterchef, Back In For Hell's Kitchen

I've rather enjoyed Masterchef, I keep thinking I should enter that show, I think I am a great cook! I can make some things very well. I recently made a potato-leek soup that was out of this world! Not restaurant quality, but that will come with practice. The more I make it, the better it should come out. I was in hopes Whitney would win! At one point in the show, she was up against the two men with the biggest damn egos I've ever seen! All seemed to be good cooks, but I was so hoping Whitney would win. That one judge Joe Bastianich is a tough guy! He doesn't give anyone any early indications that he likes or dislikes their dish. I still remember the one time he threw out Slim's dish saying he's not going to try it at all. He told her flat out it was crap and he doesn't put crap in his mouth! I still remember the episode where the contestants were asked to make a chocolate souffle! UGH!! They said that is one of the toughest dishes to make in the world. And I know! Though I have never had a problem making souffle, I know how hard it is. But my family says my chocolate souffle is out of this world! Smooth, creamy texture. Rises perfectly. Rich, chocolatey taste. And I always add a chocolate truffle in the center of the dessert, just to give it that extra creaminess in the inside.

I remember when I was younger, I wanted to run my own restaurant. I should keep practicing. But so far the only thing that I can make is American cuisine. Though I'd like to at least try to try out for Masterchef. Though I don't think as of now my cooking is good enough to make it past the first trial. I'd probably be told the first day "Your cooking isn't good enough. Sorry. You don't deserve that apron." Then I would be like "OK, thanks anyways for letting me try out!" hehehe! That's all I really want. I'd be honored to have someone like Chef Ramsay tell me my cooking is no good. Might enlighten me to do better.

Now, I don't know how Whitney did it last night, but she managed to cook a chicken breast completely in only 7 minutes!! I know all the tricks of the trade, and I cannot even do that!!! It's a nearly impossible task, but I am glad she did it! She proved it can be done. Maybe it was luck? Maybe GOD was guiding her? Maybe friends were guiding her? Family? Or maybe the chicken breast was just small enough to pull that nearly impossible task off? Who knows what did it, but she did it!! I was actually rooting for her all the way. She's only 22, and even Chef Ramsay said that she packed more knowledge in 22 years than a lot of cooks 3 times her age! And she never even attended a cooking class. That's awesome! She's on her way up, IMO, and that is why I was rooting for her throughout the whole series.

Now, I cannot wait till Hell's Kitchen comes on next week. That's another one of my favorite series. And this year, strangely, again it looks like a bunch of rebels! LOL! I still remember that one jerk that was on Hell's Kitchen a couple of seasons ago. When Chef Ramsay was telling him what a bad job he did that night, he threw off his coat and angrily approached Chef Ramsay and yelled at him, saying "I'm not gonna be your bitch!" Almost everyone in that episode was a rebel of some kind! LOL! Too funny! Thankfully that jerk was eliminated that instant. Looked like guards had to be called in to escort that guy out. He deserved to be thrown out! If you're not going to listen to a person who has had more years of experience like Chef Ramsay, you don't deserve anything good happening to you. Chef is good at insults, but that's what gets him such high ratings. People love that for some reason. But at least he knows his business! He doesn't just sit back on his butt and make his success, he does what he does with passion and has perfected it with hard work! I admire him for that. Well, last time Holli won. Let's see who it will be this year, a man? Or a woman?

Ridiculous!!

I get so annoyed by pet fees on apartments. A one-time fee I can tolerate, but when the company that owns the property starts charging people a monthly fee for keeping a pet, that's ridiculous!! Especially when the pets are tiny, harmless and legal in all states. I mean, it's not like I have rottweilers or something to that effect. Not that I condone banning some breeds. But all I have are chihuahuas and a papillon. How much damage could they possibly do?

Last night, Anna found a rental home in Missoula. It is perfect!! It's roomy, priced just right, great location, and we would be allowed to have all our pets. Plus it has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Just what I need! There is one problem though. They would charge us $75 extra a month just to keep our pets. That's per MONTH!! I cannot afford that, and I refuse to pay it! I told Anna to forget about that. I have monthly pet food and veterinary bills to pay each month, I'm not going to pay a rental agency an extra $75 a month just to keep my dogs in the family. Not unless they are going to pay for my dogs' food and vet care! And to think there are people out there with children, who do much more damage to the property than my dogs would ever do, and they get to keep their kids with no security deposit at all! I've seen it happen. Kids mess up everything! I once saw a gang of 10-year olds go to the complex dumping site at an apartment building, grab the garbage and carelessly spread it all around the playground. My dogs don't even bark that much and I still get fined. While the parents of those rotten kids get off scott-free!

What a shame, if it wasn't for the extra $75 I'd have to pay per month, I would take that house in a heartbeat!! I loved it, but I have to say no. It's OK. I know there will be others. I just don't want to go through that agency. I'll find another one. One that is more fair. We're not even ready to move yet. It's going to be a while. Certainly not this year!

Put On Your "Big Girl" Panties!!

Hehehe! Funny! But oh, so true! Am I the fricken only person on the planet that hates the Doors? LOL! Besides Anna. I can't stand the Doors. I never did like them. Though I didn't exactly like Anna bringing me up in a thread I hadn't even commented on yet. She gave her opinion about the Doors to a friend, someone told her to ignore something she didn't like, then Anna turns it around on me! I don't even know the person that told her to ignore the stupid video!! Anna was making me look bad in front of this friend, who posted the video! Like I was pushing her to comment on a video she doesn't like! Not to mention she was acting like a high school kid, instead of a college graduate going to a university! And this friend knows that she is, too!! Anna and I are mutual friends with this person. Thank GOD she is understanding. But I know Anna must have mentioned that to her at some time. But when this friend said I was not a good partner, that kinda made me get angry at Anna! I was like "Oh my GOD! My friends are going to think I'm pushing Anna!" This friend also has a lot of mutual friends with me, and I'm afraid my friends will see that and think the same thing.
I don't care what anyone says I don't think Jim Morrison looks the least bit like Michael Hutchence!! Michael is much more handsome. And Tim is more handsome than both of them combined. Though look who I am talking about. Jim Morrison had a face that looks like a lion's butthole (which is ugly as f**k), Michael is the only good-looking one out of the two. Tim is more handsome than Michael in my book. I remember a long time ago, I used to envy people who have met Michael, but those days are over. LONG over! I kissed Michael, but it was not a formal meeting. He probably didn't even know I kissed him! But I have met Tim, and I like him a lot! But compared to Michael and Tim, Jim Morrison is a clown!! An ugly, wrinkled old bag! He doesn't even have any compensating qualities. Michael at least could sing! And Tim is a damn fine guitarist! But Morrison's voice SUCKED!!!!! I've heard the Doors before. I heard better singing come from a wounded chimpanzee!!

Seems other INXS fans think there are a lot of bands I should like too, just because they do. The Doors is one of them. So is U2 and Duran Duran. I don't dislike U2, but I don't really consider myself a huge fan either. I like a couple of their songs, and that is about it. This is how I classify myself as a fan of any band:

  • If I like 8 - 10 songs (or more) of any group/artist, I consider myself a HUGE fan!!! INXS is one of few that holds this title.
  • If I like 5 - 7 songs of any band/artist, I am a fan.
  • If I like 4 - 5 songs of any band/artist, I consider myself a minor fan.
  • If I only like 1 - 3 songs, I can say I "like" the artist/group, but I don't consider myself a fan at all.
  • If I don't like any of their songs (as I feel about The Doors), they SUCK!!! And are not worth my time.

That's just how I classify my fanhood. Other people may only like one or two songs of a certain artist or group, and still consider themselves a huge fan. Very few bands or artists I can honestly say I am a HUGE fan of, but INXS is among those. So is Roxette, Richard Marx, and Tom Petty. Pretty much in that order. INXS has a huge advantage too. The men are all so good-looking. While I look at my Roxette, and Richard Marx videos and see how handsome Per Gessle and Richard Marx are, INXS are a group of much better-looking guys. Tom Petty, he may not be that handsome, but he is a damn good singer in my book!!!! His voice won me over more than his looks. As for more modern bands, I like the Lovehammers! Like I said in an earlier post, Marty Casey won my affection with Wish You Were Here on Rockstar: INXS. If INXS ever do go out of business, I have the Lovehammers to fall back on! And I think Dino is cute anyway. hehe! I have a big thing for guitarists. What can I say?

Well, I Did It Again!

At least about once a year, I take out my old Rockstar: INXS DVDs and I remind myself of the best summer I ever had in my life. I remember when the show was about to end, and Brooke Burke would say "the voting polls are open, you can now vote for your favorite rocker!" And I would immediately get up and go to my computer, turn on the internet and vote for the one rocker whose performance I enjoyed that night before I forgot who it was that did what. I was not like everyone else. Other people voted for whoever looked sexiest to them, or who they simply favored. I had a favorite, Ty Taylor. I would have loved to have seen him win. He had the sexual appeal and all! However, I can remember a couple of times I did not vote for him, simply because I did not like his performance that night. It wouldn't be fair of me to vote for him if I did not like his performance, simply because I thought he looked good. He did falter a few times, and Timmy eliminated him after him being in the bottom 3 about 3 times. He felt that was enough.

One performance still gets to me today. It was Marty Casey singing "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd. I don't normally like Pink Floyd. I never even heard the original version of that song, and frankly I don't care to. I don't need to! I think Marty's performance overpowers that song! It was awesome! I know I voted that week for that song. Afterwords I couldn't get that song out of my head! Then when my Groucho died, that song made me think of her. Now, it still makes me think of her every time I hear that song! Reminds me of how much I miss her. I say now if I were ever going to have a funeral for Groucho, that would have been the song I played at it.

One thing I can never really remember doing was voting for JD Fortune. I don't think I ever did! Everyone else did though. But I never remember voting for him. I think the reason was always because he never did a song I liked. I can't stand Elvis Presley! He did a couple of Rolling Stones songs I liked. But that is the extent of it. I think it was always his song selection that threw me off every week. The couple of songs he did perform that I enjoyed, there was always another rocker that night who I thought did their song even better. Sorry JD! I remember there were always people who voted for him for reasons other than performance. A lot of people voted for him simply because he looked good. Some wanted everyone to vote for him because they felt sorry for him being homeless and all. Then the Canadians would say they wanted JD to win just because he is Canadian. Frankly, I think that's kinda dumb! Nothing personal against the Canadians who said that, but I felt that was not an honest way to vote. I didn't really care how other people voted, but my rule stood firm that no matter which rocker I liked personally, they were not going to get my vote unless I loved their performance! A lot of people would tell everyone to vote for JD for whatever reason, but I never did, because his performances were less than impressive to me.

However, I did notice that when he took the stage on the Switched On Tour, he did GREAT!!!! He actually did much better than he did on Rockstar: INXS. I figured INXS must have whipped him into shape!! However as I understand it, he didn't do too well on his solo album. I guess he is really not much without INXS.

Well anyway that was the best summer of my life! I'm always a little sad when the series ends because that summer is now over. But I still have the memories. I have the memories of voting, the memories of the great classic songs that were brought back to life by the rockers, of seeing Tim and the rest of the remaining guys of INXS once again on the TV screen, and also of the time I actually attended a taping of Rockstar: INXS! Though I was in LA for a week, I even remember how much I missed my Groucho! And how I could not wait to get back home to her. However, while I was there, Groucho was off on a breeding job with a stud male whose pups I wanted her to have so bad!! He had an awesome pedigree, but he seemed to not know how to be a stud!! Groucho never got pregnant that time around.

The following summer, there was another Rockstar series with a new band that called it's self Supernova. I never got involved in that series! Not even once. I would have if this one guy named Robert had got involved, but apparently he didn't. I owed it to him, he did a favor for me, and so I told him if he made it into Rockstar: Supernova, I would do my part to keep him out of the bottom 3 if I could. But he didn't, so that was one reason I didn't get involved. Another reason was because at the time that series came on, I had just lost my Groucho, and I lost all interest in everything after I lost her. I barely had the energy left to love Vegas when he came along. It took a lot of therapy to get over Groucho enough to begin loving Vegas! But I managed, and now Vegas and I are as inseparable as Groucho and I was. But I still would have given everything I had if Groucho would have made it. I would have even given up the memories of Rockstar: INXS if I thought it would bring my Groucho back again. Not that I blame the show for that!! I just want her back.

Well, in 2007 I wrote a story about losing Groucho, and that helped some in getting over her. Also last year I got Minnie, my papillon. She's also helped quite a bit in filling the void. I still miss her like everything! And hearing Marty Casey singing Wish You Were Here on Rockstar: INXS sometimes brings back painful memories about her. But for the most part, I think I'm all ready to go on. I think Groucho herself would have wanted it that way. Besides, I know I will see her in Heaven. She was a good girl! Everybody who met her loved her. I remember when she went into her first heat cycle, I gave her to some friends to keep so Spunky would not get to her. This friend loved Groucho so much, complimented on how she loved to cuddle with her at night, she said she was going to bawl like a baby when she had to give Groucho back to me. I told her she could always come and visit her at my place. I never told her when Groucho died. She moved away and we lost touch before that happened. One of the reasons I decided to move here in 2007 was to get away from the tragedy. I think it partly worked. But I still felt like I left something behind back in Olympia.

Well, in other news, I am still at work on the book about horses. I finished the dog book, and now I am finishing my book about horses. I think I covered all the horse breeds known in the World. The book is in color too, so it's going to be good in that aspect. The reason I am writing this book is complicated. I remember in 3rd grade there was this girl who I sometimes liked and sometimes didn't like. Her name was Kammy. In our classroom there was a book about horses of the World and Kammy loved that book so much she would keep it with her constantly. Well I loved that book too, and one day I decided to take it away from her to get even with her for something she did to me once. I took the book home, kept it, and every day I would laugh when I saw Kammy looking for that book and unable to find it. Well, I eventually forgot I had it at home, and never returned it to the classroom. I know, that was mean of me!! So in a way I am kinda writing this book, not for Kammy, but for my 3rd grade teacher who also missed that book. I don't remember what happened to it! I think ma threw it away. Not sure! It was a small, paperback book, almost like those scholastic books we used to get, only a little thicker, and it was about the horses of the World, and had color photos of each breed.

Well, that was long ago, I'm doing an up to date version of Horses of the World. Hopefully I can pull it off. I am almost done. And once it is done, I can put it up on the UMG Productions site. So, now I have done dogs, now horses. What's next? Mammals of the World, which I am also still working on. Maybe cats down the road. I'll tell you when I was 5 years old, I never thought I would live to see the day that cats would be more popular than horses!! When I was a kid, if you liked cats, you were considered a wussy! Now, it seems everyone likes cats. I keep thinking where the heck were all these cat-lovers when I was 5 years old?? I was so hard-pressed to find a cat lover back then. Now, I think too many people are obsessed with cats. They are the most common victims of hoarders. I may work on a cat breeds book, if I feel like it. There are some interesting breeds out there. My most favorites are siamese! My least favorites are tabbies. Though tabbies can have calico babies. I just think tabbies are ugly. With the exception of maybe the cream tabbies. Cream is a pretty color on most animals.

I'm The Wanderer!

To quote a song by Donna Summer from the 80s. LOL! It's a good song! But yesterday we went to Portland again. It's the second time we've been there this month. I actually like going to Portland sometimes. It's fun. I like going there to shop because we don't have to pay tax when we go there. So I usually go there to purchase items that cost a lot. Like this new set of cookware I just got. I highly recommend it if you love to cook as I do. It's called All-Clad, and it is all American!! It's some of the best you can get out there! Major chefs on TV use this stuff. I said if it's good enough for them, then it's good enough for me!! So I bought a set. I love it!! It's made to last a lifetime.

Oh yes. On the way down there, I was reminded of what time of year this is. It's time for the annual Puyallup Fair. I saw those big yellow trucks, with the red writing on the side that said "Funtastic Rides" and every time I saw those, I said "The weirdos and the wackos are coming to town!" Thank GOD I don't live there!! And the weirdest and wackiest of all, Tracy Burbank! She's going to be there too. I remember I worked for that bozo back in 1994, and I hated every second of that job! And I hated Tracy too. I was just out of high school. Tracy was like a little spoiled brat. She was typical of someone who has had everything handed to her all of her life. Bet she never had many friends, aside from other wierdos and wackos like her. She was probably like those rich kids you see on those TV shows, who prance around the schoolyard like their shit doesn't stink, harassing other kids to the point where you just want to slap them!! I know for sure I wanted so badly to slap Tracy the last time I saw her! I would have but I was brought up first of all to respect my elders, no matter how immature they are! Second, I knew I could get arrested for that. You can't strike anyone these days, even though people like that deserve it. Sometimes I wonder what is a person supposed to do? Tracy needed a lesson. The police won't do anything about her, the company won't do anything about her, she obviously didn't know how to correct herself. She needed a smack. And she was that way with everyone! Not just me. Even some of her co-workers. Except the ones who were just like her and also needed a smack across the face.

If I ever go to the fair, I'd go just to see the animals. Like the horses and bunny rabbits. Maybe some of the more exotic breeds of chickens. But I don't get on the rides or buy any of the food. I'll bring my own from home. I'm not putting money in Tracy's pocket anymore. Besides, the weirdest people go to those fairs. Like I said, it brings out the fruit and nuts of society. That's why I stay away from the fairs, carnivals and circuses. But I love to travel. Today, my ma has asked me to come with her while she rides up to Sequim. I don't know if she realizes how far away that is! It's more than 250 miles away! But I will go with her, she needs the company. Besides I think it'll be fun. It's always sunny in Sequim. I wish Anna could come too, but someone has to stay here and watch the dogs. But ma is going there for business, not pleasure. She needs someone to come with her though and keep her focused. I told her I would go with her. I'm more fun on these trips than Anna. Anna tends to fall asleep. One time I went to Portland with just me, the dogs, my MP3 player, and my favorite Timmy pics. hehe! That was FUN! I spent the day there. It was more fun because Anna was not with me. I don't mean to sound mean or anything, but she falls asleep. Then the sound of her snoring makes me want to fall asleep, and I cannot because I am driving!! Anna's a lovely person, but she gets tired too easily.

I Hate People

People are no good!! LOL! Actually I was quoting an old MySpace page I almost forgot I had, but I found it again last night. I created it a couple of years ago for the sole purpose of telling the World how much I hate people. I've lightened up a little since that blog was first created. I'm slowly beginning to trust people again. In part because of my friends and supporters. Which I do thank GOD for. I can still take people or leave them and it doesn't matter. But I don't hate and shit on them all anymore. Just the ones who prove to be the unfriendly types. Back when that blog was written, I had become conditioned to see all new people as an enemy until proven otherwise. I still hold on to that, but instead of just thinking I am not going to like them, I just treat all newcomers with aloofness. Though I do try to make some contact, just to see if that person is friendly or not. Sometimes they turn out to be nice, sometimes they don't.

There is one person, I won't say what website I know them from, I have my suspicions about. I just cannot shake it. The person seems nice, for the time being, and I accepted their friend request, just to see where it leads. But I have a sneaking suspicion about them. For one thing, one of this person's supporters is someone I don't trust even in the slightest! I know that should not stop me, as I have many of friends who are mutual friends with people I do not like. But this one is kinda different. It's too complicated to put into words without divulging anything. But I decided as long as this person is nice, I will be nice. I don't want to slam someone right off the bat, because what if I am wrong? I'm being nice, but keeping a respectable distance from them until I know more about them. I know that sounds terrible, but I've been burned before. And it's no fun. So I have this wall all around me I guess you could say, that prevents me from getting too close too soon. Sometimes people work out, sometimes they don't--as you can probably tell from my post a couple blogs ago, in my article about Facebook friends.

There were some things in that MySpace blog that I had almost completely forgotten about! For example, Passion Wolf from the Pluba forum. She used to go under the name "Purfect Dream" and she is (or was) a cat breeder. When I first "met" her back in 2004, I felt bad for her because everyone was always so mean to her. And she seemed nice. I tried being nice to her, and at first she was OK with it. Then one day she stole a picture from another cattery's website and claimed the cat pictured was her own. I thought that was dishonest of her, and asked her if she'd like to explain. I gave her a chance, and she proceeded to spit in everyone's collective faces, including mine. I wasn't even trying to attack her. I was just giving her a chance to clear her name because everyone else was calling her a liar and a thief, and accusing her of purgery. Since she spat in my face, I didn't appreciate that, so I dropped her as a forum buddy. Some time later I left the forum, and went back a year or so later and Purfect Dream was still there. I decided to try and be nice to her because I felt I didn't really give her much of a chance before. So I tried again. She was OK for a while, then an incident that is kinda complicated occurred between her and a former buddy, and Purfect Dream, who now called herself Passion Wolf, turned on everybody like a rattlesnake! Including me. I said that was the last time I was ever going to try and be nice to Passion Wolf, and I started calling her "Wolf-Piss". LOL!! I had actually forgotten that until last night!! I still don't like Passion Wolf! Or Purfect Dream, or whatever the hell she's calling herself now! But at least now I know why everyone always hated her. She's very hard to like! She spits in your face before you can even say hi. She's worse than I am! At least I can be tamed, and once I trust someone, I can stay that way with them for a long time. But my senses are so delicate, that trust can be broken too, at the drop of a hat! And once it is, it can never be regained! I've been burned too many times to give people one chance, after another, after another, and after another! 2 is the maximum I give, and then I have to have liked that person quite a bit for me to go that far.

Well, that was one story I found on that blog. There was more. Most of them about show breeders. LOL! I reminisced about one I called back in 1998, who bred german shepherd dogs. I like german shepherds, and I wanted to get one back then. My car had just broken down so it was difficult to find a puppy. The breeders were all concerned about how I would get the puppy to the vet. Which I can see as a valid point, but my car was just broken down. It wasn't permanently grounded or anything. Well this one woman's ad in the newspaper sounded like a GOD send!! She wrote that she was willing to deliver. So I called her, and I told her one of the reasons I was so attracted to her ad was because she said she's willing to deliver and my car had just busted down. She was really nice and friendly and said she would definitely deliver, and explained how she'd rather see the home the pup is going to, so it was all fine and good. She told me she had one female left, the only reason it wasn't sold by then was because she had a little hernia. I didn't mind at all, so I told her I was very interested. So she made an appointment to come over to our house the following day at 11 AM. I gave her my address and directions and everything was peachy for the next day. I'll tell you now I was so excited that night, I only got about 2 or 3 hours of sleep! I could not wait for 11 AM to roll around the next morning! I was so giddy, I couldn't even eat or watch television. I think I started waiting for her around 7AM that morning. I even had Anna get ready for her. I remember she mentioned she was going to show up in a pick-up truck. Every time I saw a pick-up truck, I thought it could be her with the pup and I would get jittery with excitement. And disappointed when I discovered it wasn't her.

We waited for HOURS!! 11:00 came and went, she never showed up. Then 11:30, still nothing. Not even a phone call from her! I remember I did try to call her, but nobody answered, so I figured she was on her way and just running a little late. But noon came, she still hadn't shown up. Then 12:30, still she hadn't shown, and no phone call even. Finally 1:00 rolled around and I got tired of waiting. She still had not shown up and I wanted a puppy-fix! So I caught the bus to a local pet store. I was kinda hoping I could find something there, but I didn't. So I went back home. When I got home, Anna told me that the breeder had called while I was gone, and got tied up in something else, and wanted me to call her back to reschedule for the next day. I immediately got on the phone and tried to call her back, but I got a busy signal. I thought no problem, I'll just call back a little later. I called every 15 minutes for the next 2 hours and still got nothing but a busy signal each time! After 2 hours, I switched to calling every 30 minutes, and I still got nothing but a busy signal!! I tried every 30 minutes for the next 4 hours! I was beginning to think she was doing this on purpose! Even my most social friends have never been talking on the phone for 6-hours straight!! Finally about 7 PM I got a ring!!! It was the first time all day her phone was ringing! But I did not get her, instead I got her stupid, snot-mouthed teenage boy! What makes me say that now is how rude he was when I said I'd like to speak to (the breeder). He said in the most arrogant tone of voice I've ever heard, "Well you're not going to get her now!" So I asked him when she will be back. He said to try around 8:30. So I said OK and hung up the phone, thinking I still had something of a chance.

When 8:30 rolled around I tried again, and this time I did get her! What a surprise! I was fully expecting the phone to go busy again. I told her how I got her message and I'd like to reschedule our appointment for the next day. Well, she dropped a bomb shell! She stated that because I "did not call her sooner" that told her I really am not interested in the pup. I told her I tried all day long to call her back, but all I got was a busy signal. Even after telling her that, she was still saying it was all my fault. If she could have only seen how hard and desperately I tried to call her back for 6 full hours!!! But what could I do? I only had one phone number of her's and it was the one she put in the ad, and that number was busy all day long. I had no other way of contacting her. Then she griped "Well, if you don't have a car, how are you going to take this puppy to the vet?" Yep, she pulled that one on me!! After all I went through that day! I reminded her that she knew my car was broken down when she made the appointment the day before. And I asked if she didn't want to really deliver, why on Earth did her ad in the newspaper say "Will deliver"?? That didn't make sense to me at all! The more I spoke to her, and hear her imply the whole thing was my fault and not her's, the madder I got! If there was ever a person I wanted to reach through the phone and pull out to my side by the hair on her back, it was this breeder!! She made me so mad, I was beyond PISSED!!!! I've never been that pissed off at anyone before or since! I wanted to punch her in the face until my hands bled! That's how mad she made me! I just told her "Thanks a lot for ruining my whole day!" And I banged the phone up in her ear. I couldn't believe it! First she makes the appointment, and never shows up, never even has the decency to call when she is supposed to to let me know she's not coming. Any individual with half a gnat's brain would have called me no later than 11:30 to let me know they aren't coming. But show breeders almost never have any brains! And I would later find this out. Then she calls to ask me to call her to reschedule the appointment, and then takes the dang phone off the hook so I can't call her back, and then has the collossal gaul to tell me the whole thing is my fault? So much for show breeders being "responsible" people! They may be responsible in breeding their animals, but when it comes to taking responsibility for their own actions, they seriously flack-off!!!! That's why I fricken HATE show breeders!!

Show breeders want to completely eradicate backyard breeders and puppymills. But you know what, as long as there are people like this german shepherd dog breeder I had this encounter with, there will always be backyard breeders and puppymillers. Because when a show breeder refuses to sell a dog to someone like me, as desperate as I can become, I'd just simply go to another breeder, who may be less-than-reputable, or a pet store, and put money in their pockets. Simple as that. I'd go to a shelter and adopt, but all they ever have are labs and lab-mixes. And I don't want no labs!! I can't stand labs!!

Well, those were a couple of stories that came to mind when I read that blog. I talk about them a lot on there.

Richard And Famous

I thought I would take this time to give a shout-out to one of my Facebook buddies, whose pics will be presented this month at National M.K.ÄŒiurlionis Art Museum. His pics are very interesting! He's made quite a hobby of taking pictures of himself with very famous celebrities. Among them INXS, Sammy Davis, Jr., Michael Jackson, and U2. Well he did an interview with the curator of the art museum. If you want to read the full interview, go here. It's an interesting article, seems he's even learned some things from celebrities. What I find fascinating is the story of how he got started. He started at the age of 15. I remember at that age, looking at pictures of my favorite celebrities in magazines. I used to dream of someday meeting them. Well, this guy took his dream a step further. Instead of dreaming of meeting his favorite celebrities, he actually went out and did it! He said in the interview he was a young man who looked younger than he was, so he could get away with it. He explained now that he is older, it's actually harder. Come to think of it, most celebs will let children get away with things they wouldn't let adults get away with. That's how my ma met celebs when we lived in California. She used to bring me with her. I was only 3 then, so I don't really remember it. But ma did say Cher held me on her lap. Cher is still famous even today without Sonny, who ma also met that day. Unfortunately ma didn't get a picture of any of that. I also had another friend once who said she met INXS because she had a little boy that she used to bring to concerts with her. I also heard of another woman who brings her dog to concerts with her to meet the musicians. I thought about doing that once! My dogs are cute. And for the most part, very sweet. Vegas doesn't like men though. LOL! He doesn't bite, but he will draw away from men who try to pet him. I have to hold him just to get him to stay still.

The thing is, if you're into meeting celebrities, Washington and Montana are not the places to live in! They rarely come to these places. Unless your idea of celebrities are scientists, which mine usually are! But for movie stars and rock stars, if you are into meeting them, the best places to live is California and New York. Richard grew up, and still lives, in Sydney, which is also another good place to meet celebs. Usually big cities are the places to meet them. Some people are just naturally lucky when it comes to crossing paths with celebrities. I've been that lucky several times before. Even here in WA state. I'd probably have more meetings myself if I hung out more in ritzier areas. But I am uncomfortable in those areas!! I don't even like going to Beaverton in Oregon. Most of the people there are very ritzy, and I swear they look at outsiders like we were cockroaches!! And I'm not a celebrity hound anyway. Most of my meetings with famous people just happened by accident.

Well, I've spoken to Richard a few times on Facebook, and he seems very nice and down to Earth himself. If you'd like to check out his book "Richard and Famous", in which he talks about his meetings with famous people, you can visit his website, http://www.richardsimpkin.com.au/. He also sells prints of his photos. I think his photos are very good! But that's me. Judge for yourself, I think you will find this man fascinating!

Facebook "Friends"?

Have you ever lost friends on Facebook and wondered who they were? Back when I only had a few friends, I could tell instantly. It was easy. But last week I think it was (or the week before), my friend count went down a couple of notches. I had no idea who was missing. Then I thought this morning there was one person who I haven't seen anything from in quite a while. She was one of those people who updates her status every hour, on the hour. I can't really remember when I stopped seeing her posts on my home page, but I know it's been a while. I think I stopped seeing her posts last week when this battle took place between two of my buddies. I decided to stay out of it, because I like both parties. I always feel bad though when I see two of my buddies battling with each other, but it's none of my business! So I stay out! But I did notice a lot of friends of the "injured" person also deleted the other person from their friends list too. I didn't though. That's how I am! I like to give everyone a chance! As long as it takes. But anyway, that was when I noticed a couple of my buddies went missing. And I could not figure out who they were. Until I noticed today I haven't heard from one of them in a while.

Well, I'd like to say I am going to miss that person, but I'm not! I'd be lying if I said that! I'm not saying she is a bad person, because I don't believe she is! She just changed her mind is all. She doesn't want to even attempt to be friends with me. But that's OK! I'm perfectly fine with that. It's not like she and I were ever good buddies on Facebook to begin with. She asked to become my buddy on Facebook back in March I believe. I'd spoken to her several times by way of her status, but I noticed she never answered back. She would answer everyone else though. I began to question why this person even asked to become friends with me. I remember once she put in her status "How did we become friends on Facebook?" She wanted to get responses from her other friends about how they became Facebook buddies. My response to that was, "You asked me and I accepted." She actually thanked me for accepting. But that's how I am! I accept even people I know I am not going to like, simply because I want to give them a chance to prove me wrong. I think of every newcomer as an enemy until they prove otherwise. That's sad, but that's how I am! It's much better than being burned  by someone you thought liked you. I never thought of this girl as a 'friend', per se. But I gave her a chance. Obviously, I was nothing more than a number in her friends list to her, and I don't like having buddies like that! I like people who see me as a person, not as a number to show off to others how many Facebook "friends" they have. I only have 143 friends on Facebook now. And if I never get any more, that's fine with me. Or if I lose some, that is also fine with me. At least I know the last ones left are the pure and honest people who did not add me just to show off to other people that they have a lot of Facebook friends.

I do that a lot with new people on my list, I try to communicate, just to show them that yes I do want to be buddies. That they are not there just to adorn my friends list with higher numbers. I would rather have only 10 friends on my Facebook list that are good, true buddies than to have 143 who are just looking for numbers. Who the heck needs that?? And if she dumped me because I didn't delete this one person from my friends, well that's tough! Sorry. That person hasn't done anything bad to me yet. I don't even know what she did to this other friend, but like I said, I don't think it's any of my business. I like both parties so it's best I stay out of it. That's my choice. I'm still friends with both parties, and I hope to always be. One of them has been shunned before and I still stood by her. She and I are a lot alike, and I think that's what I like so much about her. I would have liked this other girl too, who deleted herself from my buddies. But she chose to walk out. Which, like I said, is OK by me!! :) It's not like I will miss her or anything!

Anyone who is on my good side gets a real bargain! They have a friend for life, who will do anything humanly possible for them, and not ask for anything in return. That's what my friends say about me all the time. LOL! All I ever ask of my friends is understanding. I speak my mind, in no uncertain terms. I have my own opinions, and I am unyeilding. Only if I am proven wrong, and given a good reason do I change my point of view. But it'd have to be a DAMN good reason!!! Like that one time this one lady tried to convince me lions are good animals, and I just don't like lions at all! Before she informed me the whole thing was a joke! hehe! Telling me lions are the "king of beasts" is just going to make me laugh at them. Not love them. Because that's only a person's opinion, usually a very biased person. I have my own views of what the king of beasts is, and it is a much more likely candidate than a lion is. But anyway, usually I am conditioned, through time and people, to stick to my guns. I said I was going to stick to my guns from now on, and that is exactly what I do! I would much rather lose someone, who is not as good a friend, because of who I really am than to give into people who are not worth it anyway, keep them as a friend, only to have them stomp on me later on. Better they leave me now than never. :) At least I try to always be polite, kind and friendly to people. I don't just start off being an asshole with others. Some people appreciate kindness, others don't. Some take advantage of it and stomp on you later. Gotta watch out for those types!!

Well, speaking of which, I will be deleting my MySpace this weekend. I don't like MySpace anymore! And I do the majority of my blogging right here. So, I won't be having the MySpace anymore. I tried to write to some of my friends on MySpace and have them join me in Facebook. The reason I am deleting MySpace, and never going back, is because I tried to get into my profile, and I noticed a lot of trojans and viruses are attached to it, and whenever I try to access my profile editing page, I get a notice that my computer is blocking these things. So I am just getting rid of MySpace altogether. It's happened twice that I got those notices, and I don't go into MySpace enough now to make it worthwhile to create a new page. So I just said the Hell with it! I'll just delete my MySpace page and that'll be it. Just keep my Facebook page. I tried to inform all the people who have left me good comments in the past about my Facebook page. I do hope all of them get the message! Not sure though. A few have that I know of and have joined me there. One of them told me she does not have a Facebook. Which is a shame because I like her! I will definitely miss her! She and I go all the way back to when I kept a blog on what is now Windows Live. That was back in 2005, when Rockstar INXS was still on the air. Check out the collection from that blog in my book "How A Dog Girl Turned Rocker" Yes, it's expensive, but thank the delusional mods for that!! LOL! It shows how I went from breeding chihuahuas to thinking solely about INXS during the time they were on the lookout for a new lead singer. Some friends, I could not reach at all. So that is one reason I am writing this here, in hopes they will see this and join me on Facebook. Some may not get the message in time because once I delete my space, any thing associated with me will be deleted on their spaces too. Including my last email messages to them! But I do hope they get the message!!

Kitty-Burgers!

Would you eat a cat? Or a dog? Hey! The Koreans do it all the time! Cats and dogs are as much a delicasy there as chicken and pig meat is here. But did you know that there is actually a site that sells puppy and kitten meat?? YUK!! To me, that's horrifying! I heard about this site today and so I decided to check it out. I was definitely horrified by what I saw. It's a site called kittybeef.com. They also have a sister site called puppybeef.com. It's actually easier for me to look at cat meat, even though I think it's disgusting, than it is for me to look at dog meat. So I haven't even looked at puppybeef.com! I think of dogs as my friends. I have 3 of them. They act like my friends, they sit on my lap and give me kisses! I don't have a cat, and don't really want a cat, so I don't see them as much as friends as I do with dogs. Though I have to tell you, cats love me for some unknown reason! Seems they can sense if you don't like them, and they always come to you and make you like them! LOL! I think that's kinda cute actually. But I still don't want a cat! They stink!! I can't imagine cat beef tastes any better than the animal it's self smells!

The creepiest thing about this site, on investigation, I noticed PETA wrote about this site as well. I was dying to hear what they had to say about it! Just as I suspected, the site has been reported to them. And when asked what they are going to do about the site, they said they aren't going to do much of anything. Know why? To them, it's sweet justice for all the pigs, cows and chickens that we normally eat. They ask how is killing a dog or cat any different from killing a pig, cow or chicken? Well, let's us lay it all out. And this is speaking as a dog owner and lover. My dogs love me and they show it. They lay on my lap, or by my side, or in my bed, they lick my face, which is their way of showing love. When an intruder comes to the door, the dogs are the early warning system. It's obvious dogs love me and I love them. But how many cows, pigs or chickens have you seen actually show their "masters" any love? Outside of TV commercials, or the obviously lanky individual keeping a chicken in their home. Or the few people who have kept pot-bellied pigs before they became illegal to own in the city limits. And altogether in some states. Here in Ocean Shores, you can't keep a pot-bellied pig.

Now, if I grew up in China or Korea I may have thought differently about eating dogs and cats, but since I grew up here, this menu rather horrifies me!! Especially as someone who now has 3 dogs licking me all over my arms and legs!! LOL! And also the fact that I lost my Groucho. That was a huge turning point in my life. I don't even like jokes about killing dogs now. Whereas they wouldn't have bothered me before (as long as they were only in fun, and not meaning any harm). I'm sure the people who have cats would feel the same way seeing ground up cat meat.

How often have you seen a cow, pig, or chicken give it's life voluntarily for it's master? I don't think I ever have! I've never even seen a cat do that! So really, what use is a cow or a pig or a chicken? Except to be eaten? And hey let's face it, they taste GOOD!!!!!! I love chicken, broiled, baked or fried. Though I really try to stay away from fried foods! I don't eat much pork, because most of the time when I do, it's too tough! Though I do love pork ribs, country-style. Beef, I usually only like in the form of a roast. But because of the hormones and shit that is now being pumped into cows to bulk them up, it's best to stay away from beef!! I prefer bison meat now. One of the reasons I cannot wait to move to Montana is because there, bison meat is more readily available. There are no hormones in bison meat! It's usually all-natural. Bison are naturally bulky. But that's mostly why we have so many fat people now is because of all the shit that is being put in our food now, it's the reason meat has a reputation now of making people fat. They've got to be using it more now! When I was younger, you hardly ever saw a fat person! And really we ate no differently then than we do today. I think now, the FDA has just upped the amount of bulking hormones that is allowed to be put into cows these days. So really bison is the only way to go! I've even seen elk meat available!!! I'd love to try that! But eating a cat or a dog, that's disgusting to say the least!!

Urine, The New Energy Source

It's true! Scientists are now working on a way to put urine to good use. They are considering it as a new source of energy. If this happens, then it will be the cleanest fuel we have ever come up with. In terms of for the environment. It's kinda cool. It is flammable and it can be acquired easily, and inexpensively. It may even start a surge in urine banks across the country, like plasma banks. And they may pay people to take a leak. How much exactly I don't know. I saw this in an article on Discovery News, it was titled "pee power". I hate the term "pee"!!! I never use it!! I say either "urinate" or "wizz". I don't know where the term "pee" even derived from!! Must have been made up from city slang! The only time I use that word is when I am talking about peas. I never use the word "poop" either! I can never see myself using that word! I think it sounds dumb! I say either "poo" or "dump". Or when I am referring to the stuff it's self, I say "droppings" or "feces". I don't know where either of those terms other people typically use derived from! But I think they sound stupid. So I never use them. But that was an interesting article!

The funny thing about that article, on the SE forum a couple of years ago, someone mentioned something about us running out of fossil fuels and how we won't be getting anymore energy that way. I said what we should do is utilize buffalo urine for fuel if we do run out of fossil fuels. Because I thought it would make a great substitute for fossil fuel-based energy. I thought of that after I found out that buffalo urine is flammable. Because basically that is all we need in order to jump start our energy-driven motors. We need a substance that is combustible. Urine would be perfect. Anyway, the people on the SE forum mocked and made fun of me for making that statement. Bet they're thinking different now! IF they have seen that article. Imagine the possibilities. It could start off as a fuel for running our electricity, maybe later our cars, airplanes, rockets. The possibilities are endless! People laugh now, but who knows what could happen? Read the article for yourself here: http://news.discovery.com/tech/pee-power-to-the-people.html.

I always get laughed at for my ideas, but then so did Van Gogh! Yes, I am using the "Van Gogh argument" again! LOL! I have a scientific mind though. I always take a minor thing, and I think about "What if you could take this and do this with it?" Like the thing about buffalo urine being flammable. To someone else, that was just a little piece of interesting information. But to me, I looked at it in my usual complex fashion. I thought about using it to burn lamps. Then I went further. Instead of just burning lamps with it, why not use it in our power plants for clean energy? Then on and on and on. That's the way I think! Crazy? Perhaps. We say that now, but look at the bigger picture, 80 years from now, will we still be saying that idea is crazy? I don't think so. 200 years ago, people said the same thing about flying. 100 years ago, going into outer space was nothing more than a dream. I look at viper venom, several species have blood-thinning agents. To someone else, they may see the production of antivenin, or basically look at it as something that kills. But to me, I see many possibilities. It can be used to help heart attack or stroke victims because of it's compounds that thin out the red stuff.

No, I am not a medium, I'm not clairvoyant nor nothing like that! I'm just a good thinker. A damn-good thinker! And a great listener. Let's be honest here, not modest. My mind is always working. Sometimes it goes so fast, it gets steered out of kilter. But that doesn't mean it gets totally derailed! At least not for long. LOL!

What I am worried about, I haven't made a video in 2 weeks!! UGH!! I think it's finally happened, I ran out of ideas! Either that or I've been so busy working on this book about horses that I just haven't had any time to think about what to make another movie about! My last movie was another little animated clip I did for Metazoica. It's Leptonosoma's screen test. Leptonosoma is a small, slenderly built lemur of the Metazoic. It's closest modern relatives are bushbabies. It came out not too bad! It could have been a little bit better, but for starters for a longer movie, it didn't turn out too bad! I saw other animation projects from other people on YouTube and I have become quite fascinated with them. Most of them do a lot better than me! But mine aren't too bad considering I've never had a lesson in animation in my life! I've just seen other cartoons, and also have seen movies in slow-motion before, and I use those as my guides when creating the motion for my little flicks. Anyway, here is Leptonosoma. If you want to learn more about this animal, I have this family up on Metazoica now. It is almost complete. I've recently added a few more new species.

Edit to add:
This version is better! These animals are supposed to leap so fast they appear to fly through the trees, much like modern bushbabies. So in this updated version, the leaping scene is much faster.

Darned Budget Cuts!!!

My apologies for not being on this site for a while. I haven't even written anything in my Metazoic blog, and I was to a point where every week, I was doing a Metazoic Family of the Week! All my viewers really seem to enjoy those! And they kept that blog busy. But I have been busy. Now that I have a trial with MS Office 2010, I am taking full advantage of it. I am back to work on my book about horse breeds of the world. That book has been sitting unfinished for the past year! And now I am back to work on it. I'm rather proud of it too! I finally completed the chapter with the light horse breeds (I finished the pony section last year), and I am currently on the draft horses. It is tough though!! I don't know horses as well as I thought I did! Oh, I know the common breeds, and in fact I have a morgan mare and a morgan/arab cross mare. They are staying with Katrina now, but once we get some acreage (maybe when we move to Montana), they will be moving back with us! But there are more than 300 different breeds of horses, and to find info about all of them, including on the internet, is quite a challenge! Some of the really rare breeds there aren't even any breeders of them! So, it's pointless to try and discuss these with breeders. It's not like it was writing the dog book, where there are many breeders, and kennel clubs that recognize multiple breeds. Horses are far more complex than that!! It's about as complex writing a book about horses, as it is with another one of our writers, who is working on a book about New York!! LOL! Well!! What the heck! We have a book about California, why not include a book about New York!!??

Well anyway, I hate these darned budget cuts!! And they are popping up in the worst possible places!! For example, I know someone who is on Social Security, and needs to have oral surgery done. Well, this person is on a very limited budget, and in fact relies on medicaid for health care. Well, when this person tried to make an appointment with the dentist to have the surgery done, the receptionist mentioned that anesthesia was going to be $300 extra, and Medicaid does NOT cover it anymore, as of this year!!! This friend told me about this, and I asked why not, and this person told me that the receptionist mentioned it is because of these budget cuts!! UGH!! So what if this was a life-threatening surgery? Like a gall-bladder surgery or something like that? Would this individual who is on Medicaid have to pay extra just to be knocked out, or if the $300 or so cannot be provided by them, do the surgeons just cut the patient open while they are wide awake, and screaming in pain? That is the worst place to put a damn budget cut!! People on Medicaid do not make that much! And in fact, $300 would be half of what this individual I know gets each month in SS. So it would be a choice between paying the surgeon and paying the rent. This person can either have this surgery done, and have this oral problem fixed, or pay the rent and still have a home to come home to and recover after surgery. I feel for this person, because I am this person's best buddy. At least I think so! LOL! I always put a lot of emotional investment in people I consider my friends, and I like to try and help them all I can. But I don't know how I can help this person, and this person really needs it.

I blame Obama for this, though Katrina said you can't really blame him. She said it's not his doing. What do you all think of these budget cuts? Let me know in the reactions. This country is messed up now! And now I heard Dino Rossi is the one responsible for sending all of our manufacturing work overseas! And to think, I liked him!! UGH!!! He's sending all that work to China, and leaving no jobs here! I have noticed all the big factories are closing down in this country little by little. The only jobs that are being left here are jobs that requires high levels of training! That is, university graduates and shit. Not everyone can afford to attend a major university! And grants are not given to people with a job and an income, no matter how little it is. If you make over a certain amount (just slightly above welfare levels) you don't qualify for a grant! You can get a student loan! But I would not recommend it. Trust me on that! The fact that student loan collectors will hound you for the rest of your life is as certain as night follows day!

So why are all the no-brainer jobs being sent to China? I'll tell you why. Because there, people can be hired for pennies a day. I know because I used to work in a factory. I don't want to make this sound too racy, but it's true. People hire individuals who are not native to this country, barely, if at all, speak english, and only interested in making whatever they can per day to send to their families in other countries, because all they need are just the bare essentials. Most of those people will work for peanuts. It's true! While the giving money to their families overseas is a nice sentiment, some jobs need to stay here, where the economy is worse!!

That makes me think of something hysterical!! There was this woman named Maria, that worked at the factory I worked at, and she got a couple of dogs from another long-time friend of mine named Nancy. Well, Nancy had been buying and giving Maria toys to give the dogs, but she suspected that Maria had not been giving the toys to the dogs because of the way Maria would answer whenever Nancy would ask how the dogs like the new toys. Nancy often got the toys from Petsmart or Petco, and give them to Maria to give to the dogs. Nancy suspected Maria was taking the toys back to Petsmart or Petco, just to get the money for them. Well, one day Nancy wanted to fool Maria, so she went to the dollar store and bought some cheap toys to give to Maria to give to the dogs, and told Maria that she bought them from Petco. Naturally, Maria accepted graciously. The very next day, Maria angrily confronted Nancy and asked "Did you say you got those toys from Petco??" Nancy said yes. Somehow, Nancy heard through the grapevine that Maria did try to take those Dollar Store toys back to Petco for a refund after Nancy gave them to her, only to have the Petco staff tell her that they didn't sell those kind of toys there. Really, you would have had to know the kind of person Maria was in order to really get that story! But it was FUNNY!!!!

Maria was money-hungry, all the time. She cared more about money than she did about any living things, including dogs and people! She was a known liar, and she was an animal abuser. After I left the factory, Nancy told me that Maria's roommate said that Maria kept the dogs she got from Nancy in crates because they had worms. She never let them out of the crates for anything, not even to go out and use the bathroom. And she never took them to the vet to get those worms treated!! This roommate said the dogs had been locked in those crates for 3 months! Never being let out! That made me angry!! I knew Maria's previous track-record, and I had no reason to doubt she did that!! She wanted to get a pomeranian puppy from me once, and I would not let her have one! She even offered to pay me double what I wanted for them, and I still said NO!! Even if I thought she had the money, I still would never have let her have any of those pups because of the way she treated the dogs she got from Nancy! I can, to a degree, tolerate liars (I always find out the truth anyway!) But I do not tolerate animal abusers! Especially in crimes against dogs! I have this thing, if my dogs don't eat, then I don't eat! I put them before myself. They go to the vet before I go to the doctor. They only go in their crates to sleep at night, or during my naps, and that is for their safety. Other times, they have free roaming of the house, or they sit beside me on my chair. In fact, I bought this chair so I can have more cuddle time with the dogs. I can't even fathom getting a dog and doing to it what Maria did to her's!!

Well, that's enough of my rant. Back to work on the horse book! Watch for it on the UMG Productions site!

Cryptic Creatures

I was reading this article of the day in the sidebar, and it's about a devilish creature that was observed in England in the 1800s that was said to have superhuman powers of leaping abilities and eyes shined bright red, and breathed fire. It was called the "spring-heeled jack". It was said to resemble a man who was tall and thin, and had a devilish grin, wore a cloak and had horns on his head. I've always been fascinated by cryptic creatures, but this one really struck a chord with me. It was probably the creature that gave rise to the theory of the bogeyman. I used to hear about him when I was little. My ma used to tell me that if I didn't go to bed when I was supposed to, the bogeyman would come and get me. Oddly though, he never sounded threatening to me! LOL! I always pictured him looking like just a regular man. In fact, I equated my image of him akin to a man that I used to see all the time jogging down our street! And he was a nice man. So I was not afraid of the bogeyman. But I always went to bed when I was supposed to anyway. But after reading this article, I figured he had to be the image my ma was trying to convey to me as a child. I don't know why parents do that really. The scare tactic doesn't work with all kids! It didn't with me. But then I don't really scare that easily. That may be hard to believe, me admitting I don't open my doors at night, and barely during the day unless I know the person behind the door! But hey! Better to be paranoid and not open the door at night, than open to a stranger, and be dead later. Or disappeared would probably be worse. But anyway! This was an interesting article! It got me thinking today about some other cryptic creatures I've always been fascinated by! I will look at some of those here.

Cryptic creatures have always been a source of fascination for me. I love watching shows like Monsterquest when I can catch it on television. They have done some fascinating stories on there. Some of these cryptics can be explained. After all, less than 100 years ago, the giant panda was thought to be a cryptic animal. Today, it is one of the most familiar animals on the planet, and the largest member of the raccoon family! Yes, raccoon! Though some people think they are bears. The mountain gorilla is another animal that only 100 years ago was considered a cryptic animal. Today, they have been extensively studied, and known to be the largest primate, but also the most gentle. Some cryptid creatures that keep me interested in this subject are:

Mothman: This is a replica statue that was made of the creature that terrorized a West Virginia town in the late 1960s. His eyes were said to have glowed deep red, and some people reported he had no head at all, but rather had his eyes affixed to his chest. But he was reported to have wings like those of a moth, and to fly at fantastic speeds! He never killed or even harmed anyone, but he was very scary to those unlucky enough to encounter him. Because the area he was first spotted in was the site of an ex-Federal Bomb and Missile Factory, it was believed for a long time that this creature was the end result of a military experiment gone wrong.

Mongolian Death Worm, also known as Allghoi khorkhoi: This is an interesting tale of a huge worm-like animal that lives under the sands of the Gobi Desert in Mongolia. It is said to be 3-5 feet long, and spews out either sulfuric acid, which turns anything it touches yellow, or corroded, or stuns it's victims with electricity. It is said to be as thick as a man's arm, and to touch this creature means instant death, as the natives believe merely the skin is toxic.

The Jersey Devil: This creature has one of the most interesting stories of all. It was birthed from a normal (though what is today considered wiccan) mother. It was her 13th child, and someone wished the baby to be born a monster. The baby was born blond-haired and blue eyed, like a normal baby would be. Immediately after she gave birth to this baby, it grew wings, and grew a grotesque figure and flew up the chimney out into the pines and disappeared. This animal is said to be bipedal and have horse-like hooves, like the picture posted here. Hardly looks threatening! But those who encounter it say it is a terrifying creature! Though I don't believe anyone has ever been physically harmed by this creature, they were blamed for livestock killings in the 19th century. A carcass of a creature fitting the description of this animal was found in 1957, and in 1960, a local merchant offered $10,000 to anyone who could bring him a live specimen of this creature.

Bunyip: This is an animal of Australian folklore. Though the creature in this picture resembles a large dog, coming up out of the water to snatch an aboriginal man. There are actually as many different descriptions of this creature, as there are stories told about them. Literally! Some have said it resembles a cross between a dog and a horse. Some say it is a large humanoid primate, like Bigfoot. One of the reasons this creature fascinates me so much is due to a documentary I saw about it back in 1991. It told the story of a British explorer in the 1880s, finding a dead specimen of what was believed to be a bunyip. He took it back to England, and showed off the skull of the creature found. It had a long nose, long tusks, and a single eye in the middle of it's head. Others thought it was a truly new species, but the explorer told that it was not a new species, but in fact a deformed fetus of a horse. Today, it is believed that the bunyip is actually fur seals, which sometimes make their way up the Murray and Darling Rivers, where the legend of the bunyip began.

Chupacabra: This is one of the most fascinating cryptic creatures of all IMO. It's name is actually taken from two Spanish words, which mean "goat-sucker". This was derived from the fact that when this creature first started to rear it's head, goats and sheep were it's primary victims. Though they have never been known to target humans, they have targeted (besides sheep and goats) chickens, rabbits, horses, cattle, donkeys, and most recently, dogs and cats. They are evidently working their way up to human victims! There have been many sightings, most of them in Puerto Rico and Mexico. It has been said that any animal that falls victim to Chupacabra is completely dried out, and often some organs are missing. But the carcasses are almost never fully devoured. Descriptions of this creature vary by locale. Puerto Ricans tend to describe a creature that resembles the one in this picture. While in Mexico, a more batlike creature with wings is described, and in the southwest USA, a bipedal, doglike creature is described.

Cadborosaurus: Also known as "Caddies". I first heard about this creature on Unsolved Mysteries, where they showed the picture to the left here, taken in October of 1937, of a 30-foot long creature that was found partially digested in the belly of a sperm whale. The whale was taken on a whaling exposition in Cadboro Bay in Victoria BC. When the whale was dissected, they found the partially-digested carcass of what appeared to be a giant sea serpent. It had a camel-like head and an eel-like body, probably moved through the water in an undulating fashion. It had 4 flippers which also probably helped it swim, and a fanlike tail.

Well, there's my interesting list of cryptid creatures that I find most interesting. Of course we all know about Bigfoot. There has actually been so many sightings of Bigfoot, that there is now a motion in action to get the creature recognized by science. So what will be next? Anyone's guess!
