Questions Answered

As any readers to this blog now knows, I have been following the JD drama all week. It has taken me through periods of happiness, sadness, anxiety, frustration, even rage. But today JD did an interview with a Canadian radio station and revealed all. He did seem to contradict a lot of what he told Entertainment Tonight. Either that, or a lot of what he said was indeed seriously edited. If the latter is true, I would sue ET. This has caused JD a lot of public humiliation and a lot of people who once supported JD have decided they didn't want anything to do with him anymore. I really didn't want to say anything, because I didn't want to buy any trouble. But over the past week, I've heard what seemed to be one rumor after another, and nothing official from INXS. I figured JD told his side of the story, and I was hoping INXS would tell their's. Last night, I was reading this group and I saw one person say that INXS won't be bullied into saying anything. I responded saying I don't think anyone is trying to "bully" INXS, I think the fans just want to hear their side of the story. As the saying goes, there's always 2 sides to each story. I was just waiting for the day to come when INXS would share their side, what with all the rumors and stuff going around.

I will always feel I was right about JD not being good enough for their band. Sorry, I cannot change what I always have felt. The man is very talented, yes. He sang INXS songs every bit as good as Michael did. But he was never really a team-player. INXS should have done Rockstar: INXS back when they were still kinda young. I think because they are older now, JD is becoming more of a handful for them. Anyway, one of my online buds sent me the radio show, and I thought I would share here.

It's Still Going

The drama that JD went through is still going on. And now tonight I found out JD Fortune even made Perez Hilton's gossip site. Oh my GOD! That's pretty bad! I'm shocked that The Star Celeb hadn't picked up on this yet. I know these ladies read my blog. Come on! Anyway, one commenter on Perez's site said that she worked the band's show back in 2006 and she heard them talk about letting JD go because of his excessive coke habit. I don't mean the drink Coke either! But it still seems odd that nothing has been mentioned about it on inxs.com! Maybe he really hasn't been released and the guys just want him to get clean before the next tour. Or the next album, whichever comes first.

I still cannot help thinking that perhaps INXS should have listened to their fans. A lot of people have said they never liked JD to begin with. I know I didn't when the series Rockstar: INXS was going. That whole time I hoped he wouldn't win. But I love INXS, and I respected the guys' decision, and I saw a few concerts and indeed, JD has talent! I thought he performed really well. I still like JD. He was good to me when we met! But I cannot help but think the men of INXS need better instincts. I love these guys, but their instincts SUCK!!! I have impeccable instincts and I predicted JD wasn't right for them. As a soloist, JD would be perfect!! As a family-oriented team-player, no. He is no good at that! He loves his family, I have no doubts about that. But he just is not a team-player. One thing I will always remember about the voting. There were people who voted for JD just because they liked him out of all the rockers. There were those who said "He's had a hard life living in his car and all. Let's give him a break and vote for him." Then there was the Canadians that voted for JD just because he was Canadian himself. Me, I was the different one in the group. I voted for whose ever performance was the best that night. I had my favorites indeed. I prefered Marty and Ty as that goes. But there were times when I felt their performances were not up to standard. So I didn't vote for them those weeks. That was how I voted. And those that voted for egotistical reasons, like JD was the pretty-boy or the Canadian guy, I hope they learned their lesson.

So I kinda wonder what happened to that wonderful Honda Civic he won at the end of the series? Did he sell it? Or did he give it to his family? What? But as for all this drama going on, I say now it is either time for JD and INXS to either put up or shut up! Come clean with all of us, because JD is making himself look bad to a lot of people. With all this hype, one would think one of the guys from INXS would have said something by now. But no, nothing. Not a word on their site, nothing. Not a word to the news, or Entertainment Tonight. Nothing. Why leave your fans hanging like this? It was our money that was spent on the concerts, the media, the voting, etc, I want to know exactly WHAT is going on?

Nothing will stop me from loving INXS as I always have, and I want to think there will always be some love for JD inside me as well. But I feel as a loyal fan of nearly 20 years I am at least due a little bit of restitution from INXS.

The Looming Sadness

Well, the drama of JD Fortune continues. One person on this one group said that INXS probably let JD go because of his boozing habits and smoking pot. I made a comment that if that is indeed true, then it is all JD's own fault. As much as I adored JD, it is his own fault! Not the fault of INXS. But people continue to bad-mouth INXS, and I noticed one of my online buds, who've always supported JD Fortune, has decided she doesn't like him anymore and lost a lot of people she thought were friends. I felt bad for her! After I announced on inxs.com that I do not like Kirk Pengilly anymore, I lost a lot of people who I thought at the least were online buds. But having been through similar episodes many times before, I can tell you that I predicted that would happen before I ever even announced it publicly. It doesn't bother me, in an exponent like that, you find out who your real friends and the genuine people really are. The people who never liked you in the first place will drop you like a hot potato, even in the midst of what would seem to be a wonderful friendship. But the genuine people, who truly liked you for WHO you are, will not care that you choose not to support that band member. I like this girl a lot! She never did anything bad to me. I hate to see her losing friends just because she chooses not to support JD anymore. I want her to know now that I won't desert her just because she doesn't like JD anymore. Ultimately, it is HER choice!! NOT someone else's!! I knew that when I decided I didn't like Kirk anymore. No one else can tell you what is really good for you. Only YOU can do that!

Funny thing about this I saw all kinds of people bad-mouthing INXS yesterday, and I could not believe INXS "screwed JD over"! They seemed so happy with him! So I said there had to be another reason why JD got let go of. But I personally was thinking recession. Like I've said on here before, I don't want to buy trouble. Not until we know for sure. But then someone brought up the thing about JD boozing and doing pot and drugs, then I thought back to the days of Rockstar: INXS. I didn't like JD at all then. In fact, I only ever remember voting for him once. That was when he did "Hands" by Alannis Morisette. He sang it better than she did! But then again, I can't stand Alannis Morisette, so that's not really saying much. But I respect INXS's decision, and they chose JD. But I also remember about halfway into the Rockstar series, I made an individual analysis of the remaining rockers. It can be seen in my book titled "How A Dog-Girl Turned Rocker", but I predicted back then that JD was not right for INXS. Actually, I thought Mig was better for INXS because he always put his heart and soul in every performance. But Mig did not have the sexual appeal. He looked like a troll, or a cockroach! But JD I felt at first was not right. He's not a team-player. Marty had the sexual appeal, and the team spirit, but I didn't think he was right for INXS either. He was a harder rocker than INXS was used to. But Marty also put all his heart and soul in every performance. He did great with the Lovehammers!

Now, I don't know the future of INXS. Maybe they will all just settle down and not make music anymore. Or maybe they will separate and go with other bands. Or maybe they will go for another season of Rockstar and win themselves another JD. Or maybe they will try finding a new lead singer another way, like advertise through their local newspaper. It's up to them. But if they don't make music anymore, it'd be a shame because these men are very talented! But JD isn't all bad. I have a knack for being able to tell who is all good or all bad, and JD cannot be all bad. A person who holds his family in such high regard, can't be bad at all. That's what I think.

JD Fortune News!

Well in other news tonight, I found another video illustrating JD's dilemma. This one was sent to me by one of my MySpace buds. JD apparently is living in his car again according to this video. I'm not 100% sure if that is true. I wish to GOD I could help him out. There is an empty apartment above me, and it's not too expensive. But the job market out here SUCKS!!! JD is such a talented man though, and when I met him he was so pleasant. He could no doubt get a nice job at one of the hotels around here. The Shilo Inn is nice and I'm sure they would snap him right up! But he'd have to move out here, and I'm sure he wants to live were his family lives. But just in case he is looking, there is a nice apartment here that is very good, clean, cheap, and cozy. I don't want JD to be homeless and miserable. I would like to see him happy again.

I looked in on a group and saw some people saying some pretty bad things about INXS. We don't even know (even they didn't really know) if it's true or not that JD was let go of!! One person even went so far as to say Karma is a bitch and one day it will catch up with them. Another person said that Jon Stevens predicted that INXS will screw JD over like they screwed him over. Well, I hereby want to let the men of INXS know that I will ALWAYS love them! No matter what. Karma may be a bitch, I admit it is, but no matter what, I will forever be loyal to Tim, Jon, Andrew and Garry. Yes, I am even loyal to JD. I actually really came to like the guy! If karma is a bitch to my favorite men, I will be there, ready to hold their hands and take them in. I will be attending as many concerts as I can, and faithfully applauding them no matter how many lead singers they may go through. Why? Because they've always been good to me! Tim was very kind to let me have a photo op with him even though he was very busy. Jon and Andrew gave me special siggies on my album cover and my book. Garry was always sweet and kind to me whenever we've met. And JD was very sweet too, and I loved it when he called me "darlin'". And I don't give a shit what Jon Stevens says! I don't even like that guy! I never did.

Besides, Tim always made me laugh in a good way. Whenever I felt bad, I would pop my INXS videos in and I loved looking at Tim's face, hearing his accent and listening to his cute quips!! He always made me feel better. I know he never knew about all this, and maybe even it wasn't intentional. But the fact of the matter is, it did happen that way on several occasions. For that reason alone, I am forever loyal to him. I just want him to know that!

Stuff That's Health Hazards to Your Pet

I never would have known about some of these, especially the bread dough! This was sent to me by another breeder who sometimes sends me tidbits like this. It's interesting! And I thought I would pass it on. These are hazardous to your pets, so please do not feed them these things.

Grapes and Raisins
Healthy for you? Yes. Healthy for pets? No. In dogs and cats, grapes can cause kidney failure. "We're not exactly sure why grapes pose a health hazard to pets," says Fisher, but experts suspect it has something to do with a chemical in the fruit's skin. Raisins are even more dangerous because they contain a concentrated supply of toxins. Keep this snack out of the reach of your pets.

Bread Dough
"I see this one a lot when people make bread, leave it to rise, and come back to find their dog has helped himself to a serving," Fisher says. What's the harm? The dog's body heat will cause the dough to expand quickly resulting in severe abdominal pain and bloating. In some cases, death can occur if enough dough is eaten.

Chewing Gum
A dog might be attracted to the sweet-smelling gum that your kids are chewing or that's tucked away in your bag. But the artificial sweetener, xylitol, in many types of gum and breath mints, can be deadly to pets. The sweetener can cause a low-blood sugar crisis in your pet. In fact, just one pack of gum can kill a dog, warns Fisher.

Macadamia Nuts
Careful where you keep that bowl of mixed nuts. If they're on a low table that your dog can reach, your pup might get into trouble. Ingesting these nuts can cause tremors, weakness, unsteadiness, depression, a rapid heart rate, and a dangerous rise in body temperature that can lead to other complications. Though macadamia nut toxicity is very scary and dangerous, most dogs recover within a few days, says Fisher.

Nicotine
It may seem unlikely that a dog would eat cigarettes, but those nosy, little creatures will gobble them without a second thought. Nicotine is highly toxic so it doesn't take much to cause a health crisis for your pet, including seizures, coma and death.

Chocolate
Who doesn't find chocolate irresistible? But when it comes to dogs, chocolate is one deadly treat. Caffeine-like stimulants in chocolate known as methylxanthines can produce vomiting, diarrhea, excessive thirst and urination, hyperactivity, abnormal heart rhythm, tremors, seizures and even death, cautions Fisher.

Alcohol
"This type of poisoning happens a lot after people throw a party and their dog or cat gets into a glass of alcohol sitting around or that's spilled on the floor. Sometimes, children will think it's funny to give a dog some beer," Fisher says. And while animals may experience some of the same wobbliness and weakness that humans do after drinking, they are much more sensitive to alcohol than humans and can quickly be in a life-threatening situation, she says. Alcohol ingestion can lead to seizures, heart arrhythmia, vomiting, coma and death.

Pain Relievers
According to Veterinary Pet Insurance (VPI), the number one insurance claim by far for poisonings in 2007 was owner-induced. In most cases, the problems were caused by pet owners giving their pets drugs intended for human use. "Sometimes when the vet's office is closed and a pet is in pain, people will administer over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen to their dogs," Fisher says. Never give your pets these types of drugs, warns Fisher. One tablet of acetaminophen can kill a cat, she says.

Tea
Ever had your cat poke its head into your cup of tea? It's not just annoying, it can be downright dangerous depending on the type of tea you're drinking. Caffeine in your tea is toxic to both cats and dogs. Depending on how much is consumed and the size of your pet, ingesting it can lead to vomiting, diarrhea, hyperactivity, seizures, coma and even death.

Onions
You'd probably never consider giving your dog a piece of an onion, but if you toss her a piece of steak or a bit of stir fry cooked with onions, you're putting your dog in danger. Onions are toxic to dogs and cats whether they're raw or cooked. When ingested, onions can cause hemolytic anemia, a condition that destroys the red blood cells in the bloodstream. A dog with onion poisoning may become lethargic and have difficulty breathing. Generally, a large amount of onions would need to be consumed to pose a serious threat to your dog, but cats are highly sensitive to onion toxicity.

Suspect Found Who Started Wildfires

Well, the scum was caught. He may just be one person who set one of the hundreds of fires according to this article. It was a 39-year-old man. Imagine that! People these days just seem to be getting worse and worse. But anyway, I'm glad someone was caught. I mean that was terrible. The fires spread and killed more than 190 people. I'm just so glad that no one I know was taken by them. Though I am not saying I don't feel bad for those who were taken. It's a very sad thing. 190 is a lot of people! I've been trying to keep up with the news about this, because I do have friends and buddies in Australia. I wonder if there is some way I can help them out? I'd like to do something. In other news, I got the link to the video about JD Fortune and he looked sad. It mentions that INXS has lost some of it's luster for JD. There is a second half to the video, which I am still waiting for (the person who sent this to me is also still waiting). I'm not sure if that means everything is all over between INXS and JD. I really don't want to buy trouble or fall into the abyss of rumors, so I really do not want to say anything yet. I'm just scared to death that INXS is indeed a done deal. But why hasn't anything been said before this? There have been 3 chats with the band members, and nothing was said about the band breaking up. The closest was when Tim said that he didn't know when they were going to make another album because they didn't want to go touring just yet. I understood that because they had just gotten over a 2-year tour. I figured he and the rest of the band were taking a well-earned hiatus. At least for 2 years. It also makes me wonder, why on Earth go through the trouble of doing Rockstar: INXS and get everybody's hopes up when you had no plans to really keep JD? It doesn't add up!

Well, I felt bad for JD in this video, he was crying. I hated to see that. I wish there was one way I could help. Geez, I've been in a helping mood today! LOL! But JD looking as sad as he did in this video just breaks my heart! Ya know I hate to even think this, but I kinda wonder if I am responsible. I know that sounds silly, but I bad-mouthed Kirk pretty badly last year, and there is a pretty good chance the guys may have seen the posts. I know everyone says that couldn't have been him who posted on my blog last summer! I've established that! Although now I really do kinda wonder who that was!? LOL! I am very sorry for the things I said about Kirk, I didn't mean to hurt his feelings that bad. Well, in a way, yes I did! But, I've since gotten over all that I had accused him of and forgiven him. It's the new leaf I've turned over, thank Metalraptor for that.

Viergacht thinks Metalraptor, Katrina and I are all the same person. LOL! I wonder in whose body are we all in? LOL! Mine is definately big enough for all three of us. I only wish it was true!! Metalraptor is smart as a whip! So is Katrina. I have what one may refer to as "subjective intelligence", LOL! Metalraptor knows more about Palaeontology than I ever have. I absolutely SUCK at palaeontology!! And I think I've proven that more than once on the SE forum. Metalraptor has told me about creatures from the past that I had no idea at all about. Katrina has a high-paying job and makes in one day what I do in a month!! And she is not about to get laid off. They love her so much there, and she is already pretty high up in the company. Metalraptor is heading that way too if he can build up his confidence. Me, I'm just me. But yeah, I truly wish Viergacht's claims were true!! I'd be set for life! Viergacht banned Katrina from his blog because she told him like it was! I found that funny. This was the same man who said on my blog that he didn't expect me to accept his comment. Katrina said Viergacht's "sarcasm" was more like "blowcasm".

Oh No!

What happened? One of my online buds told me that she saw an article that may just prove that it is all over for INXS. Like maybe they really are retiring. I heard about it before, but I didn't think it was true. For instance, Kirk's girlfriend and now fiance Layne referred to Kirk as a "retired musician". I thought at first maybe it was just a little slip of the tongue. Like maybe he is retired for now, but later will get back in the game. But then this online buddy of mine said that she saw an article that sounded like the days of INXS will be over. No more tours, no more albums, no nothing! I don't enjoy any other band as much as I do INXS on stage. And the men of INXS are so handsome and so sweet. Well, all except Kirk. But I always enjoyed meeting Tim and the others. Anyway, I hope it's not true! This friend said that she saw the article, and if she sees it again, she will send it to me. I will keep you posted.

I never thought that INXS getting JD would mean the end of the band. I'm not blaming JD at all. He did great! But I guess I can partially blame the Hutch-fans for this. Not the ones I consider friends, but the ones who down on JD and say he is not as talented as Michael was. Those people probably never seen JD perform before!! I have, and he was just as good as Michael was! I've seen both perform live. The only thing I don't like JD singing is "By My Side". It's a good song! I love it! JD can sing it good up until the end when the song goes "Yes I wish you were by...my...siiiiiiiiiiiide" JD drives me NUTS in how he sings that last word at too high of a pitch. Michael didn't sing it like that! That's the only song though that Michael could sing better than JD. All the other songs, you can't really tell the difference. INXS taught him well! But I am afraid their last album didn't go over very well in reviews and stuff. Personally, I say who cares about reviews? I never listen to them because I like to choose who and what I like.

Well, Katrina called last night and told me she will be coming over sometime this month with the hubby and kids. I cannot wait to see her latest baby! But she said she wants to go roller-skating. I haven't been on roller skates in years! And I have never tried these in-line skates. I was always afraid to. I used to be good at skating until the manufacturers started only making in-line skates. They looked too much like ice skates, so they scared me a lot! I absolutely cannot ice skate! Anyone who has seen the movie Bambi, if you remember the scene where Bambi was on the ice and could not stay up, that is how I've always been on ice skates! I used to could ski though! I used to like it. But I always enjoyed innertubing in the snow more. But Katrina always loved to roller skate, and she wants to go, so I have to take her. IF the ring is open!! Sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't. It was last weekend.

Viergacht Update

Well, according to Metalraptor, Viergacht doesn't buy our apologies. But that is OK, because I found out about this post he made on the SE forum when Canis Lupus told him we apologized:

"Not buying it. I have an autsim spectrum disorder, and I don't accept that as an excuse."

FTR, I never used autism myself as an excuse, or ANYTHING as an excuse. I don't have autism and I never claimed to have any other disorders. I was just wrong in what I said and I admitted it. But he is using autism as an excuse. Whether he realizes it or not. But since he admitted it himself, he is indeed a sick person and needs help. And I said I hope he gets it. I am not angry at him at all. I cannot bring myself to get angry at someone who cannot help how they behave. But I did retract my apology to him, and so did Metalraptor. Really, I didn't give a shit if he would have accepted my apology or not! I really only did it to clear my conscience. When I am wrong, I am wrong, simple as that! Then I quoted this to Metalraptor:

"It is a good rule in life never to apologize. The right sort of people do not want apologies, and the wrong sort take a mean advantage of them. - P. G. Wodehouse"

I saw that quote a long time ago and I posted it on here, and to use his own words, Viergacht struck me as the kind of person who would take a mean advantage of it. But unlike him, my instincts are razor-sharp. I detected he was that type of person from the beginning. I hadn't even met him! All I knew about him was what Metalraptor told me about him, and I could instantly tell Viergacht was that kind of person. He did tell me in the beginning, Viergacht was bashing my project along with JohnFaa. That was before ANYTHING on my part. So in essence, whether he likes to admit it or not, Viergacht started this himself by siding up with JohnFaa and bashing my project. But I say let him go on and shit his pants over me. LOL!

Another thing I found out today, Metalraptor is younger than JohnFaa! JohnFaa is 16 years old! I would never have guessed Metalraptor was younger! If that's true, Metalraptor is the real genius in this group!! Metalraptor, you sure are a complex person!

INXS

Now to a subject I know I love! INXS! Especially Tim!!!! Anna and I were talking last night about how we got into music in the first place and I was reminiscing about my very first encounter with INXS. Well, it was an indirect encounter. But I was in my first year in middle school and I'd heard about how kids in middle school are more interested in rock n roll. Well, I was in my first period desk, and the person who had sat there the day before wrote all their favorite rock groups on the surface of the desk. There was U2, Van Halen, Duran Duran, Motley Crue, but the one name that caught my attention more than any other was INXS. For some reason, that word fascinated me. But at first I thought it was pronounced "inks", LOL! I never heard of INXS back then, so I didn't know. Anyway, I just went about my day.

Most people believe that because I am an INXS fan, that I must be a fan of U2 and Duran Duran. I like a few songs of U2's, but only a very few. And most of those are from the 80s. Particularly from their Joshua Tree album. I have some of their songs on my little player here. I won't say I dislike U2, not in any way, shape or form. I like them, I just don't love them like I do INXS. And Duran Duran is exactly the opposite of U2. I only liked Duran in the 90s, I don't like any of their 80s stuff at all! They totally sucked in the 80s. But I do have a couple of their 90s songs on my little MP3 player. And the men in those bands are no where near as attractive as the men of INXS. INXS is the only band so far that I've ever known where almost all the members are so handsome! Well, all but Kirk, poor guy! Most people went for Michael, and I confess I did too at one time. I even saw Michael perform in concert once in Seattle and that is where I kissed him. hehe! So yeah, I can understand other peoples' affections for Michael. I even loved that man a lot for a long time after he died. I admit then he was not that attractive to me anymore, I didn't like his hair, I preferred the long, curly hair on him. That slicked-out look well, he just didn't look like himself anymore. That took a lot of getting used to.

Well, for a long time after Michael died, I felt bad about that. But aside from kissing him at a concert, I never formally met the man. I could tell he was a good man though, I have a natural knack for that! You can imagine my shock when I found out he had killed himself. There are many rumors surrounding the circumstances of his death. The most popular rumor is that he died of auto-erotic asphyxiation, but a lot of people believe that was not true. Many people believe, as I do, that he just got burned out in life's problems and couldn't handle it anymore. It is sad when someone feels that there is no way out of such situations and take their own lives like Michael did, very sad! When I heard the news, well, I could sit here and punch out a novel describing that horrifying 6 seconds when I heard the news. I had so many things go through my mind, and one of the biggest things was how much I loved that man when I was younger. LOL! I loved him so much back then I used to fantasize about marrying him. Of course I knew it was nothing but a fantasy, even back then I knew that rock stars never marry the fans. But it was fun to dream. I grieved for a long time after that. I went through a neutral period with INXS between 2000 and 2005, then early in 2005 something happened. I was up early one morning because I was nervous about going in for a second surgery in less than a year. I don't know why but I was thinking about INXS and I started looking for INXS forums. After some amount of searching, I found one, but it took a while.

Well, to make a long story short, I had turned my attention away from Michael and started eye-balling Tim, the band's guitarist. I saw one pic of him that someone had posted on the forum and he was so handsome in that pic, made me fall head-over-heals in love with him!! That wasn't an entirely new concept though. Even though for the most part my love for the band leered more towards Michael, Tim was always a second choice. I always thought that if anything happened to Michael, there is still Tim, who is just as handsome (and now in my eyes, even more handsome) as Michael, plus, Tim always had a way of making me laugh. He has a cute sense of humor, and he can make anything funny. One fan, who'd met him long before I did, suggested sometime when I meet him to ask him to do his impersonation of Al Pacino in Scarface. Well, I have since met Tim several times, and never got around to asking him that. When I see him, I just get so excited like a puppy dog, all I can think about is he is there standing right in front of me. Not in front of me standing in an album cover, but the real thing, in the flesh!! Yeah, I may get a wee bit star-struck but when it comes to Tim, well, let's just say he is even more handsome in person than he is in pictures. Some day I may get up enough gumption to ask him to do his impersonations, but for now no soap. I'd like to get to know him as a person first. I was extremely lucky at a concert in Seattle to have met him in a dark alley. I'll tell you all right now, I hate Seattle!! I hate the city with a burning passion!! I hate city people too! When I was there all alone, I was scared to death walking up that dark alley on my way to the concert. Then all of a sudden, out pops Tim, my favorite band member! I know that is hard to believe me just happening to be in the right place at the right time to see him, but there it was. I'd say it was a plan created by the Almighty HIM self!!! Before leaving my car on that little walk, I said a prayer to GOD that if I happened to bump into Tim to give me the courage to ask him for a photo op, and in that case, HE responded in my favor. Believe me, I never would have been able to do it without GOD's help. The end result of that night is the pic in my profile. And whether you like how I look or not, it is a pic I am particularly proud of! It was a great moment in my life and I was walking on air!

The only thing I find frustrating about being an INXS fan in today's world is that most other INXS fans are cat-people! I'm not a cat person! I don't dislike house cats in general, but I don't like having them in my house at all. I wish I had become a fan of the band when I was 5 years old! I loved cats back then. But INXS was not even heard of back then. Not in this country anyways. Funny thing, when I was 5 years old, and heavily into cats, I was hard-pressed to find another person who actually liked them at all. Everyone else but me liked dogs, even other girls my age or close to my age. Now, I feel like I am the only INXS fan who is not into cats. I like dogs, but I only like tiny dogs like chihuahuas and papillons. I don't like big dogs like golden retrievers or irish setters and stuff like that. I like a few herding breeds like shepherds, but that's all. The thing that turned me off to dogs was their butt-sniffing behavior, but really, cats are no better! They're just daintier when they do it. Anyway, I feel out of place. But then at the same time, I know I am who I am--a very individual person. But then I am also turned off by cat people. Not INXS fans, necessarily, but the cat-people I used to encounter on the YouTube site. Most of them said the reason they hated dogs was because dogs kill people, yet they somehow seemed to forget about the many people who have been killed by wild felines, especially children. And dogs don't kill people, only people kill people! Hate the message, not the messenger!! Those dogs that kill people are only doing what they were trained by their owners to do. Or lack of training by their owners. Lack of love as well! My dogs are loved, and they wouldn't attack anyone unless I told them to. My pa's got a retired police dog and she is sweet as pie until he gives her the attack command. Then she does what she was originally trained to do. But that's all a totally different story. LOL!

This Question Needs An Answer

I was checking some resources e-mailed to me, and one of my friends came upon this post on LiveJournal where someone was griping about me. This person created a fantasy world full of centaurs, trolls and other mythical animals, and another friend told me about it, but didn't tell me (because he himself didn't know) that the project was supposed to be a fantasy world. Well, this person (who calls himself Viergacht) has been griping about me all day. Him and about 7 of his friends. One of my friends found this post and e-mailed it to me.

Well, one person made a comment on the post and I have to answer it. Without any roasting (because I already apologized to Viergacht this morning for saying the things I did after I realized I was wrong) I wanted to let this person know something.

Words spoken from someone who does not know me at all, and obviously never read that blog. That link leads to a book titled "How A Dog-Girl Turned Rocker", and he thinks no one ever read the blog and that I am crazy to charge $35 for it. Well, maybe so, but there is a reason the price is so high. It was very sought-after!! Ask Catsredrum and Netrage. They wanted to read that blog so bad, they were willing to sneak people in there after I made it private to copy and paste it onto their forum. So I said if it's such a popular blog, I wanted to publish it, but if Catsredrum and Netrage were going to get it, they were going to pay dear for it. So that is why I charge $35 for that book.

Well, this was Viergacht's response:

My response is: Oh! Don't feel bad hunny! I'm tougher than you will ever know! Neither you nor your friends have said anything I ain't never heard before. Like you said on your forum, if you were someone I know and respect, my feelings might have been hurt. But you're not, so it doesn't bother me. But obviously I bothered him more than he is letting on in his journals!!

Keep in mind, I do not know this guy, never have I spoken to him, and only made ONE post about him on ONE journal, until I got this e-mail from a friend, and felt that first comment needed a response. Seems he is the obsessed one by posting about me on 2 different journals, and the SE forum.

I already made my apologies though, and have forgiven him. So I will not carry this any further. So from now on, any displays of obsession are on his head. Not mine. And that is not narcissism. That's honesty! I think you will find I am always honest no matter what. It is a cross I must bear. The inexperienced may think that is narcissism, but I'm just doing what I am programmed by nature and my parents to do. And Viergacht, before you go on making statements about someone you don't know and could spend the next 100 years trying to understand, I am too complex of a person for you hunny. You were the one who thought I would reject your comment this morning because you said I struck you as the type who deletes comments that don't prop up my ego. Well, maybe that's what you would have done if you were in my place. But not me. Believe me, I've been insulted worse by people who know far more about me than you ever will. Viergacht is the main reason why I never get chummy with people right away. Metalraptor tried being nice to him, and he just completely ignored him. Whereas I always answer all my fan mail.

Well, one might think this would put a damper on my efforts to change. But no. I am still working on it. I didn't think it was going to happen overnight. If Viergacht does keep this up and does not leave me alone, I'm going to have to do with him what I did with the delusional mods. Believe me, he won't like it!! He's obviously not as tough as I am and I can get really nasty!! He ain't seen NOTHING yet! I can make posts about him that would make the one I made about him before look like it came from a children's story. But I will back off now and give him and his friends a chance to do the same. The apology is up, I have forgiven him, and have for hours now. It's all up to him now.

Octuplet Mom

I have been following this story all week. There is a woman named Nadya Suleman in Los Angeles who went and got pregnant on purpose, even though she is unmarried, has no job and is living with her mom in a small, 3-bedroom home, and she is on welfare. She admits she did all this just to get on welfare. I don't want to pass judgement seeings I don't know the woman, but I must say I think she must be a very selfish person to do this to her mom and to the taxpayers!! Then to openly admit it on the news. I think Dr. Phil was right tonight about that woman being very unstable mentally. I feel bad for her. I know what she is going through because after my Groucho died, I went through the same thing. She needs to put some of those kids up for adoption because those kids need a better life than what she could ever give them.

This is the kind of thing I think we need to write to our congress about. People who go out and get pregnant on purpose just to get the money from welfare should be banned or punished. If she had the kids BEFORE getting on welfare that would have been different. But she admitted to having those kids just so she could get the welfare money, and I find that sickening! The only problem with congress passing a law like that is how many people are actually really going to admit they got pregnant just so they can get on welfare? None really!! In fact, this woman is the only one I've actually seen do that. Now I am not saying people on welfare should not have children, a lot of poor kids grow up to contribute a great deal to the World. Look at Bill Gates. Well, I know his family were struggling, I don't know if they were on welfare. But anyway, people who are being supported by the government should not be having kids, and especially not 8 at once with 6 small kids already underfoot!

And what this is all doing to the girl's mother is also crazy, stupid and selfish! I would NEVER ask my ma to support me along with 14 kids! I stopped getting help from my parents when I was 20. Since then, none of my parents have ever bought me groceries, never paid my rent, never paid my household bills, and I would never ask them to. Occasionally I may have asked them for help now and then, but I always gave them that money back whenever I got paid. This woman's mom needs to figure how much her daughter owes her for children's clothing, food, rent and extra heating and electricity each month, keep a record and when the daughter graduates and starts working, hand her the bill and tell her that she owes her that much and make her pay it. Only then will she see how tough it is to raise kids, and how expensive it is. That is why I never had children. The cost is too much! I pay out the ears for my little dogs, and that is enough! They are a lot more fun and a lot less noisy than children (and a lot less disgusting---kids tend to pick their noses, touch parts of other peoples' bodies that should be left alone, and in general are usually crude to each other).

But then looking at the young woman's point of view, the media has been unkind too. But I am sure she saw this coming (I hope) before going public. While I do agree she should be sterilized, and some of those kids should be put up for adoption, and this is a very selfish act she has committed, and she doesn't seem to know what she is doing, she should not be getting death threats!!! I don't agree with that! This is a woman who needs help obviously. So sterilize her, adopt out some of her children, and send her to rehab! But don't make death threats! That's stupid!! I'm personally just giving my views on this subject. I think the Chinese had the right idea, put a limit on the number of children a family can have and make that a LAW! Like a single mom should only be allowed no more than 2 children. After that number, it should be mandatory that she be sterilized so she can have no more. And if they are on welfare before having children, that number should be reduced.

PETA Connections With the KKK?

Oh my, PETA has gone over the line in their campaigns before, they have yet to disappoint me with their level of stupidity!! Now I heard they were in NYC at the Westminster Kennel Club dog show dressed as KKK members. I find that highly offensive! The KKK stands for negativity, and so does PETA, and they do NOT help the cause of animals by doing stupid stunts like that! They said that they were against the AKC promoting purebreed dogs because they claim it's unhealthy to breed purebreed dogs. Once again, I find something that PETA and I disagree with! Of course that isn't new, I disagree with just about everything PETA stands for! I like purebreed dogs, I prefer them over mixed breeds. With mixed breeds, you never know what you're going to get. With purebreeds, there is no question. Besides most of today's mixed breeds are ugly. They're all either mixed on purpose with poodle or labrador or some other 2-bit breed. Besides, most breeders today are breeding very healthy pure breeds. As usual, PETA is full of information that has no sanction. Just assumption.

I may have bad-mouthed show breeders in the past, but that didn't mean that I didn't think they knew what they were doing when they breed their dogs. More than anything it was their personality I found disagreeable, not their breeding ethics. Though I do find their people skills rather questionable too. I still say it's safer to buy from pet stores!! Until there is some kind of class to send show breeders to where they can learn to treat people with respect and kindness, I'll continue searching the pet stores!! I've been in good luck with them so far! Well, I've since forgiven the show breeders who've done me wrong. I even looked and saw that there was an old sussex spaniel that took 1st place at Westminster tonight. Not to offend the sussex spaniel people out there, but that just isn't my breed. I don't care for them. But I do think it's cool when a breed that has never won like that finally wins big. And an old dog at that, he was 10 years old! I liked it when Kirby won at Westminster, and such a lovely animal he was!! I grew up with a papillon, I like them a lot! I was one of few people back then that owned one! He came to us out of pure luck. We got him from someone who was a breeder and their dog had an oops litter, and she didn't know who the father was. She didn't want to register them apparently, so she gave Andy and his sister away. They were the only 2 pups in the litter. This was back when paps were still kinda under the shadows of the more popular breeds. I was just lucky to be in the right place at the right time, and I never regretted it.

Anyway, PETA just never seems to draw the line anywhere. There they were at Westminster taking up a booth and passing out more of their stupid fliers full of more of their BS urging people not to buy or breed AKC registered dogs! Sometimes I just want to give PETA a good slap in the face!! They are so stupid! Anyone who agrees with or supports PETA is stupid!! Enough said there! I say don't listen to people who talk out their asses as PETA does! If you enjoy purebreed dogs as I do, then by all means, go out and get one!! But the thing I hate most about PETA is that they force their beliefs on others, and I'm the type that the harder someone tries to force their beliefs on me, the more I will just push away and keep going with my own beliefs. They're always doing these stupid campaigns that give animal lovers such as me a bad name!! I really wish I could say I will wash my hands completely of PETA, but that won't happen soon. As long as PETA continues to do stupid promotions like this, I'll always have something to say about them. If you want to summarize the stupidest promotions PETA has done, check these out:

Picketing KFC and other fast food restaurants to ban the sale of burgers and fried chicken.

Halting the migration of Mexicans into the USA because they said that Mexicans will be leaving behind beans and rice, as if Mexicans do not even eat meat. Believe me, Mexicans EAT MEAT!! A lot of meat!!! I should know.

Taking advantage of the death of one bus rider in Canada who was killed and eaten by another bus rider, saying that if those people hadn't been meat-eaters that would never have happened. Hello? A lot of psychos are vegetarians!!! In fact, more criminals are vegetarians now than meat-eaters. Almost as if their bodies are going crazy craving something.....meat!!! BWAH!!

I don't enjoy going to PETA's website, but if I wanted to find more of these moronic campaigns I'd have to go there and find it and I'm not up to it now. I have a big enough headache now as it is.

Natural Fires or Mass Murder?

I was just reading an article about the brushfires in Australia. Now people are saying that they may have been caused by arsonists! Not Nature herself. That makes me feel worse! I hope it's not true because that would be much harder to excuse than if the fires had been caused naturally. Thankfully one of my favorite internet buds is OK, and so is her family! I thank GOD for that anyway. But I still am thinking of the people down there, and hope that one of my favorite guys from INXS does not get caught up in it. Even though I know it's many miles away from them, I still worry!!

According to this article I found, the death toll is now at over 160. Bodies were found in crashed cars that had tried to escape the fires, it's terrible! The flames are moving so fast that people were getting desperate! One man jumped into his pool, one woman hid her children in a wombat burrow, etc! It's just terrible!! One officer said that if this was started by arsonists, it is nothing more than mass murder! I must say I agree. Seems that way. It'd have been different if the fires were started naturally. That could have been easier to get over. But to think some people started the fires just for fun, well, it's horrible to think about. The fires were further complicated by 60 mph winds and 117 degree weather. That's why it's going so fast! Before this, the worst fires to hit the state of Victoria occured in 1983, when 75 people were killed. That's only half though of what is being found now.

Brushfires in Australia

I cannot believe it....no wait, I CAN believe it! Australia is famous for having some weird occurings. Brushfires are actually quite common there as they are in California. When I first saw an article about Brushfires in Oz, the first thing that popped into my mind was my favorite men of INXS are there! Then I was praying to GOD that they and their families would be OK. But the fires are is southeastern Australia, I don't know if any of the guys live there, but if so, I do hope to GOD they and their families are OK. I think someone once told me one of the guys (I think it was Garry?) has a home in Melbourne. I don't know if that's true or not, or even if I heard correctly, but if it is true, I hope all is well with him. When I met him he was such a nice man! Though not a lot of fans would agree with me. But he never snubbed me, so I have no reason to think he's anything less than a good man. I loved the guy!! He was actually one of the guys that I hunkered to right off the bat! Him and Andrew. I don't think I would like Garry's new wife though, she's one of those ARA folks, probably supports PETA. But until I meet her, I cannot say with absolute certainty if I wouldn't like her. But if I do meet her, at least I know she's one of those ARAs, then I can at least have a little bit of an idea about what to expect. Forewarned is forearmed. Simple as that.

I do know some people (via online) who are from Victoria, the state that is on fire in Australia, and I do hope they are all OK. So far 14 people are dead, and that was what scared me. That and the fact that at first I thought the fires were in Sydney, because at the beginning of the article, it said "SYDNEY" in all caps! So it had me frozen in my seat there for a minute. I was just worried sick about my favorite men and their loved ones. Yes, their loved ones! The ones that keep them ticking. The ones that really encourage them to get out and make music, plan tours, chat with the fans, and more. I thought about them as well. And well, Timmy's youngest is such a nice-looking young man! hehe! When I saw his most recent pic, I realized how much he looks like Timmy, it made my eyes pop out!!! hehe!

This is a video I've known about for years, it features the comedian Dane Cook talking about experiences working at Burger King. I'm not sure if this guy has ever thought about going into movies, but he is funny sometimes. This is just one example of the funny things this guy says. I like this video too. This is how I would do my video logging, because I mean really, who wants to see me just sitting in an easy chair talking about the problems and solutions of this World? That'd be BORING!!! And let's face it, I'm not Cameron Diaz!!! I'm a wishy-washy, ugly old hag! So images like these would be more interesting to see on the screen.

Anyway, this guy is funny! And I know I can do something like this, even add video in between still pictures to sort of illustrate what I am talking about. Even put music in the background.
